Okay, I put my plants into 12/12 about 6 days ago, and last night one popped out with tiny thin little pistils, so its a girl! :dance:
The other has a load of leaves clustered together at the top which looks to me like its also gonna be a girl, they are different strains so they will show sex at different times.
The plant that has been confirmed as female has a small rust problem, :( although it hasnt really spread at all for the past week or so, so im guessing it doesnt really matter.
Both plants were topped and eventually LST'd as size was gonna be a problem...

Thanks for your concerns, but i already know, it doesnt matter, i have control over stretching anyway, and the fact it is stretched makes no difference whatsoever, you still get the same amount of bud, the reason i stretched them is that its easier to LST them, without damaging or getting in the way of buds, anyway, its not lack of light, its the distance from the light.

Thnx for the nice words mate ;) as for strains one is a hybrid (the sativa) that my friend made, he calls it 'time tantrum' as it takes forever to flower and show sex, (it definately does lol) and the indica is from my friends dad, i have plenty of seeds but still need to find out the strain from him, as for names the indica is called Gambit and the sativa is called Gargantula and i have a smaller Indica called Gravity together they are.... The G-force! lol

Anyway, Gargantula hasnt shown sex, still, and Gambit has opened up to reveal a tiny pre-flower on the top nodes, still waiting for the lower nodes to pick up, and tomorow i will post pics.... till then, peace....

well gargantula was a male so i cut it down, i would have kept it to make a cross but i just cant be bothered, so i only have gambit now..

Heres a couple more pics, the lower bud sites have started making pistils and the top sites are now well established and have begun to produce THC, after i cut down Gargantula i used the roots to make rooting hormone, i gave some to Gambit last night along with her second feeding, hopefully now the growth should be a little faster, and the plant should take in more nutes, anyway, heres the pics, its looking good....

I think he just means they weren't grown in the best conditions possible, but as long as it produces you some good bud all work is not wasted :D.

Thats okay, but to be honest, they have been grown in good conditions, they are only about a month old if that, and to be honest, im proud of my plants, i dont want to go overboard and worry about everything, so i thought a bit of compost, a light, some water and a few nutes/hormones/minerals and that would be it, heres a pic of some weed i have grown in those conditions but worse.... judge for yourself..

Hey AB can I suggest getting to a mega store and getting an emergency space blanket.(silver thing) They are a few bucks here in the states and are true mylar. The shit is thin but if you reinforce the edges with tape you will be straight.
The shit in your cabinet is bottom grade and you would be well served with mylar considering you don't have light to waste.

hmmm, i dont really use nutes for vegg. as they usually cause more problems than they are worth, but when im flowering, (someones gonna give me shit for this) i use Miracle grow, the blue water soluble stuff, i use a weak strength solution in rain water (for extra minerals) and feed with every watering, as the MG i got is pretty high in phospherous, and its slow release, i can give it a lot of weak feeds and then just run clean water through once a week, i havent had nute burn yet but the leaves are very dark green, i know alot of ppl say not to use miracle grow but if you use it right, its better than nothing, my friend got a couple very healthy 2ft plants using MG, but a heatwave dried them crisp in about 2 hours....crazy...

Hey AB - just thought I'd drop in on your thread and say hi, I haven't been around for a while.

Had a run in with LiP the other day and I think he gave me the "electronics curse"!!!
First my HD goes down (no problem there - got backups), then in the same day my "Sony Ericsson W810i" decides that it will only send SMN/text messages and won't call, and to top it all I get the "red ring of death" on our X-Box 360!!!

Anyway - cute plants, keep reading and growing I'm sure you will be a GREAT grower one day.
