Smoked male, got high!

So my 2 plants at 7 weeks old finaly showed there sex, male, well at least one did, the better one, so i cut it down which was a pity seeing as it was so pretty.cut all the new growth tips and grilled them for 1 min smoked them and enjoyed a pleasent afternoon,to my amazement i actually managed to get quite high, after every one i talk to said they were useless and to throw them away.The strain is blue mystic which as i've read has a very high thc content about 17% to 20%.Has any one else got high of a male, and or this strain?:smokin:

to be honest i can't be botherd to load it on the computer it wiil end up taking me an hour, but hey i recommend you grow those, what light are you going to use?

Hippies knew this YEARS ago. Males will get you high, just not as high as females. Heard one dude put it like this- "Trichs are like tits, both sexes have them, but in females, they are bigger and better!" (a bit of a male chauvinist pig, but, never the less, right) If you can segregate your plants, you might want to let them grow for a bit, "sample" the males, and pick a potent "daddy" for your next generation! I sometimes vape a green bud to "taste test" my girls to decide which will be "moms" for clones. The potency isn't what it will be at harvest, but I can get a fair idea about flavor and the high.

Most people say that males aren't worht shit and shouldn't be smoked. What few people do know is that at certain points in the life cylce of cannabis a male has much higher THC content than a female. Males can get you high but only when they are harvested at their peak and the pollen is removed.

The person helping me a little is an old hippie...I agree with this statement from his personal growing experiences...

yea this one already had pollen sacs and was begining to smell goood, a bit minty, the leaves even looked a little cristerly, smelling the cuttings that i put in a bag smells almost like sticking your nose in a big bad ass bag of bud!!

Titus Titan- There is a chart in the The Marijuana Growers Guide by Mel Frank that shows the THC content of a plant at any given point in its life. Sadly I cannot show this chart to you seeing as I have loaned my copy of the book out to a fellow grower. You can check out this book at your local book shop in the gardening section.
