i have 4 shop lights with 2 40 watt grow/daylight bulbs in each will this b good for a few weeks until i a get a 400 watt hps?

yes keep them close to the plants 2-3 inches and they will do fine

...it's probably the best way to do it...floros..until seedlings are established...then go to the big dog...not to close...at least 15 inches..you should be able to put your hand...between top of the plants and your 400HPS..comfortably..for five minutes...enjoy..
