Can someone post a pic of how much an 8th would look like? I know its supposed to be a "finger across the bag" but I want to see around how much it should actually be. I'm either getting it from my usual dealer....or this other guy who my friends girlfriend buys from...he has good shit...but he mostly sells dimebags. My usual dealer (whom I am friends with) will sell it for 40...the other guy for 50...both have good shit...but one might hook it up fatter than the other :thumbsup: so can someone post a pic please???

Buy or borrow a scale from someone and weigh it out. 1/8's is appearance look different and going by your eye is not a way to get the exact weight. I've had 1/8's that looked like 1/4's, and I've had 1/8's that look like 1/16's, so it all depends on how dense the buds are.

go spend the 1.50 at office supply store n get a lil hangin postal scale . office depot . staples etc.... keep yourself from getting screwd .

Even beter, go to any headshop.. You can get a nice little digital scale, acurate to 1/100th for like $30, if that.. Itll keep you from being ripped off, and (more importantly) itll keep you from looking like a douche when it actually weighs out.

Well. I got the bag and we rolled a blunt. I let my friends brother take like a dub since hes the one that went and got it and he put 5 on it....gave a dub to my friends uncle....a 10 to his other brother...then went to my friends house and smoked him out with the rest...all in all....an 8th well smoked. But now i kinda have to quit smoking for a little while. My girlfriend doesnt like the fact that i smoke....and got pissed when i got the 8th...and her sister (my friend's girlfriend) also got pissed...so they left all pissed...and we went walking around and such...and had to tell them that we quit from now on to get them to come back....im not quitting forever...just about 2 weeks...then after that no more smoking around her...and no more being high around her

OK...so let me break this down....First, I'm going to assume for a dub you mean 2 grams and a 10 you mean 1 (maybe wrong).

You gave a dub (2g), another dub (2g), a '10' (1g), smoked a blunt (assuming a gram)...

So...a 6+ gram 8th.....not bad considering an 8th is 3.5g, and you made this post because you had no idea what an 8th was.

Maybe I'm wrong though....

no....after we smoked that blunt and i gave that nug to his brother...wich was about one gram...i still had like 3/4 of an 8th left. the dub i gave out was about half a gram....alot...but the buds were really light. and i gave out one third of a gram. wich i called a 10. sorry for the confusion. so i still had alot left...wich i killed at my friends house...i passed out on his couch...

"dub" typically means a 20 sack, which is usually about 2 grams

I hate when people use the word "nug" as a measurement term, I've seen nugs that weigh almost an oz, and the little nugs you cram into a bowl are still called nugs. It's annoying,

it was actually a fat nug that fit in a dub sack. so i just called it a dub. sorry for the confusion. and im not autistic....COUGH asshole COUGH....man...i think i have a chest infection *no kidding* my throat feels the same way it did when i had one...and im coughing stuff up like when i had one. and sorry for being an asshole earlier. i woke up in a bad mood cus i got grounded yesterday for having bad grades. oh well. and i decided to not quit. i just wont smoke or be high around her....wich sucks cus i usually have a better time when i am high.
