Redoing My room....trippy style suggestions

hey guys i am redoing my room, because it is boring old and very boring when im in it stoned. I just wanted some suggestions on what i should buy/do so it is way cooler/trippier/more fun/more awesome. I have an extremely conservative mother who rejects many of my ideas. However, i do have the following ideas. 1)lava lamp 2) bean bag chair 3)crazy rug 4)some pretty shweet posters. Any one have any suggestions, i figured you guys would know best, being that you are stoners, and youre like pros at this. Thanks guys

no dont' just get a black light, paint your walls black and buy about 10 packs of those glow in the dark stars from wal-mart or something and put them up all over your walls, makes for one hell of a smoking experience... also if you have a fan, put some on your fan, as evenly spaced as you can, used to have 3 stars on every blade, you turn off the regular light and turn on the black light and you got a spinning glowing circle in the middle of your ceiling... there's also always flourescent puffy paint (their brand name is tulip paints, they're intended for fabrics and can be bought at wal-mart or hobby shops for a couple of dollars a bottle... most of my walls are covered in the stuff, band names, peoples signed my walls, lyrics to songs, a tribute to kurt cobain and dave williams is there too...

if you got your own place, you can subscribe to high times or start picking it up monthly and use the pictures of buds and shit to decorate your walls with, black light reactive posters are always a plus too...

Yes, black lights are where it's at. I have one semi-small black light and two diff bulbs. They all congregate around and to the side of this big mess I made with glow in the dark paint on my wall. Really gives that glowing-chill look.
I also have all of my walls painted/spray painted with crazy designs and cartoonish things, one wall with red and orangish christmas lights hanging over it, and glow in the dark paint all over my ceiling.
And as an alternate mood, I make a shitload of candles. Less of a spacy mood and more of an alert, down to earth vibe.

I actually like red lights better. I dunno why, I guess cause red and black are my favorite colors and under red light everything looks red and black. And it doesn't hurt my eyes like regular light does when I'm stoned. Its nice and chill, but you can still see. Red light + black light = cool. I've tripped with that combination before, makes people's shirts glow and their faces red, its crazy. Get one of those sweet ultrasonic vaporizer things too that changes colors, those are always cool. And you can put shit in them to make your room smell good and cover up pot stank.

Blacklight, a new coat of paint, strobe light, smoke machine, glow in the dark stars, go to http://www.spencersonline.com/ they have some really cool shit in the decor section.

ive seen some good ideas in the previous posts, especially about black lights. Kinda makes me wanna get one o' dose :D

inferius your room seems pretty trippy, if this wasnt a magic herb forum id ask you to post pictures of it, but i can imagine it pretty well heheheh

well, all that makes it look better, but if you want your room to be a little more fun...i suggest all these options:

:jointsmile: TV (if not already), video games!, pool table (one can dream), dart board, board games!, bookshelf and good books (a cool looking shelf with books and sick plants around it looks pretty gnarly, im a fan of tribalish looking stuff), sick plants...preferably carnivorous ones, vines everywhere in the room, a "pet" like a reptile, spider, rabbit, mouse, whatevah, skateboards hanged on the wall (or anything of whatever sport you like), and so on so on, i could really go on forever.

How about painting the ceiling with crazy art, or hanging a bunch of flags from the ceiling, or exotic swords on the walls, take pictures of your favorite local spots and get the picture enlarged at costco or something and frame it, put candles everywhere and light them all up at night, or switch it up sometimes, bring a mini fridge and have quick access to fresh cold beers and cheesecake, get an awesome smoking device and post it up as the supreme instrument of inner life discovery (use it as a religious use), hell...get nuts and draw on your walls like a maniac...you can always get it repainted if its THAT bad ;)

go out and look at shit, HEY a hamac! fuck yea!!

anyway, go look at interesting and fun stuff outside everywhere and think of how to incorporate it to your room.
