View Full Version : PH balanced H2O when final flushing before harvest??? help!

Hey guys when you are flushing your plants the final time before harvesting, does that water have to be ph balanced to 6.5 as well or just use tap water. I keep hearing just use tap water but will that do some damage? I know my tap water is very high reading on the "8.5 or higher" mark on the bottle.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks

ello elway buddy hows it going good i hope been a few weeks since our last last chat
as for your question i use normal tap water but if you have the equipment to ph balance your water then use it m8 its got to be better than un balanced water

try letting your water run for a min. the pH will probaly drop

personly i cant see that working harris
as the water we all get comes from a big ass tank and pumped thru the pipes to our house
if the ph in the tank is say ph7 then even if you run the tap for a few mins its still gonna be ph7

I totally agree with harris--always ph your water always. It takes about 1 minute and thereby solves any ph water related problems. To me the peace of mind alone is worth it.

Hey thanks guys.
I have always ph'd my water even when flushing, but it became a pain in the ass to keep phing all those jugs when I had two plants in 5 gallon buckets. It took forever!!! I was just wondering because I have heard different stories.

You can use distilled water from wally world for about $0.64 per gal.I did that for along time,till I got reverse osmosis.It hooks to the garden hose and gives me 90 gals a day.Cost about $200.00 but it pays for it's self.No more fooling with jugs of water letting them air .Just a 5 gal bucket to carry in to the grow room.But yes you want to PH the water.
