color changing pipe

i brought a color changing pipe from my friend and it has already changed color i want to clean it with the rubbing acholol method will my pipe change colors after i clean it and start smoking out of it or will the rubbing acholol fuck up the color change and make so it wont change colors again

in case you dont realize whats causing the change of colors, its just the resin build up on the inside affecting how much light penetrates the piece. Rubbing alchohol will not destroy your pipe LoL

now, if you some how render the piece un-useable then it wont change colors =oP Theres no little heat sensors or anything in the pipe, its just clear glass with colored glass in it. Hell, some of the clorful junk inside the glass might not even be glass LoL

dont understand the last part so anyways u are saying that even when i clean my glass pipe and smoke out of it it will still change colors????

casue i dont want to clean the pipe if it wont change colors anymore

It will not stop color changing due to the alcohol.

As Bro DZ said, the only thing that causes the color change is the build-up of resin (that black gunk) on the inside of the pipe. The more resin there is, the less light can get through the pipe, which is why it appears to change colors. Fact is, you'd have a tough time keeping it from changing colors...you'd have to clean it all the time so the resin never built up. If you use the rubbing alcohol, make sure you leave it out so the alcohol has time to evaporate, and then it will be good as new and you can start watching the resin accumulate and the colors change again.

I agree. Before you put the rubbing alcohol in, scrape out as much resin as you can with a straightened out paper clip (be sure to bend it when you need to reach those far corners) and roll it up into a ball, then smoke that. It should get you blasted.
