Round 2- 2nd grow

well here we are again growing, this will be a LST grow so if you want to learn it stick with the grow, im growing 8 plants to start all which are bagseed from 4 diffrent bags from very good herb.

im using a dresser which is 40H 32L 24W with 2x150watt HPS bulbs, a 6inch 250CFM inline fan, and reflectix wall covering.

im hoping to end up with 4 females at most and 3 at the least, if i end up with more than that i have another empty cab to use as a mother cab if needed and its all ready to go just needs a light. :thumbsup:

hey fog i have the main cola left on the last grow for some reason a cannot part with it, the thing will be vintage and worth money by the time i get over it and smoke it but man does it bake you.

at the moment i have no carbon srcubber i may need one but we will see as smell really isnt a issue but then again i never had 4 flowering plants at once.

i fixed my temps i guess the fan didnt like the reducer on it so i cut a 6in hole instead and now she is running maybe 82F i dont have a temp gauge at the moment but the exhaust air is cool, way cooler than before.

well i guess we will see what happens worst case senerio i need a 465CFM cage fan with a scrubber, i may get it just to have it for the future who knows...........

hi there, ill be watching this one...wanting to do a bit of LST on my next grow which is a sativa.

on the subject of scrubbers, i found i didnt need one on my last grow of 6 plants...maybe it was the strain, or my sence of smell lol so its still in its packet. but at least its there if i feel i need it.

Yea, I had a bud from a bag one time, looked so good, so dense and tight. I bought it wet (got screwed) then dried/cured it myself, and it was sooo nice smelling/looking that it took me a while (and a shortage) to smoke it. It was so good, though. I still miss it. :( Damn, you're definitely not gonna have enough to last you til next harvest. That sucks. Meh, it was a GOOD first grow, though, man. Good job.

Fans, I've found are very important to get down pat. I'd say get a strong one (overkill a little) and possibly tune it down with a dimmer, but not enough is injurious...possibly fatal. Get a strong one. Spend the money for it and it will be worth it. If you find a strong one that is relatively silent (doesn't sound louder than the damn AC), let a bruddah know. Spring...jump...frog. lol...*rambling off into nothingness*

well you dont want my fan then it sounds like a tornado hurling but gets the job done, i think i may just get a new fan anyways after all it really is the heart of the grow and without a good fan any lights are junk if its too hot so...........

tell me Fog how hard was it to clone?

i want to clone myself otherwise this process from seed takes a bit too long, maybe you cab give me a few tipscwhen the time comes

Yes, fans are important. Good lights + good fans + a few more extras = successful grow...(well, not really but that stuff is DEF. important!)

Cloning rocks. But if you get ahead of yourself, you will have 50 plants and no place to put them, but you don't want to kill 'em!

well damn finally after a few days a few sprouts show up :)

and so the adventure begins, for me veg is the hardest part once i reach flower its smooth sailing from there, the lights are set to 24/0 for the moment until the rest pop out the soil.

Salezzi- they will be in the cups just a short while i give them about 10-14 days in the cup then ill move them into 8" pots for veg, i plan on vegging them about 50-60 days as i have alot more room in this cab plus with the LST i can get a 2-3 foot plant in there without a single problem.

hmmmmm i fucked this up...............

well i got cocky and put the seedlings to close and over a few days they died, oh well shit happens right! had 3 duds too so i would have needed to restart anyways.

some good did come of this, my temps are still kinda high so my gf (she rocks) decided to buy me a 600CFM squirrel cage fan....after all.....we all know who gets a good portion of the weed....you know...plants cant die and shit.

so this is delayed another 2 weeks....no biggie

dude that bong made my friend almost throw up he took such a huge hit....lol

that bong is the king of hits, one bowl off that thing and im retired....

anyways my grow should be up and running soon :)
