SHOULD I CUT THESE LEAFS OFF? (PICS)

The Ph got off on me with this plant. I think it suffered some heat stress, and a nute lockup.

It has since turned around I think, Its been flowering for 6 to 7 weeks now. I have pollinated it to get some seeds. I can see lots of seeds and the sacs are starting to open.

The fan leaf stems went completely purpal and the leaf tips started to curl down, as well the edges of the leafs curled up.

I read this could be many problems. mainly a P and K lockout and maybe a Mg deficency. I fixed all these elements with proper PH and proper mix of nutes and a bit of epsom salt. There appears to be some new growth and new white hairs.

The top bud site of the plant seems cooked. the rest of the sites have seed pods starting to open. I can see one seed that is starting to turn dark in colour. which means its ripeing i believe.

My question is should I cut off the dead fan leaves or let them fall off naturaly.

any help is greatly appreciated.

if you can give them a lite tug and they fall off do it if they are still afixed pretty good there is probaly some nutes left in them that the plants can use they are pretty stressed as it is so to pull off all those leave swill just worsen it IMO. plus pulling leaves in flower anytime diffuses hormones.

If the leaves are more than 50% destroyed I'd probably pull them; less and I'd probably cut off the dead parts of the leaf and try and leave the healthy part. I know sickly leaves invite mold, fungus, etc so I worry about it but I tend to lean towards the paranoia. The dead cola I'd chop and dump. I agree with UGU that the stress level is probably way up so I'd make sure it's on the rebound first.

Thanks for the help guys sounds like a plan. I tried pulling the leaves off they all stay attatched. So all the dead material I should cut off eh?

your plant look way stressed man, is this your first grow? it looks like u need to water less and keep the heat down. are u using any fertz?

Right after I give them PK13-14 dose, (3-4 week of flower, strain dependent) I start to remove all nasty leaf, discolored, or dry leaf. Once I'm down to week a or so, all fans go, as I'm usually running straight water, or a bit of Mollassas in it. Different ways for different gardens.

I would get rid of the dead stuff but you know there's probably 100 folks here who would say not to. I don't like dead diseased stuff and I do think it invites illness so ......Sorry to leave you more confused...:)

I am using botanicare Pure Bloom about 7ml per gallon, with water at Ph 6.1 now and they are in Promix.

once I changed to this lower Ph of water they seemed to turn aorund and start growing white hairs again.

Should I be giving lower Ph'd water to my plant even though ProMix has a Ph of 7?
