There are roughly 400 billion stars in our galaxy alone. Of those, about 10% have small rocky planets suitable for harboring life. In order for there to be life, there must be liquid water. In order for there to be liquid water, it must rain. There is only one place in the entire universe that we know of for certain where it rains.

And when it happens here, we complain about it.

I don't. I fucking love the rain. The weather always makes me happy, no matter what weather it is. I love the rain, I love beautiful sunny days, I love the wind, I love overcast, I love it all. The only times I don't like is when Its so fucking hot i'm uncomfortable and sweaty.

I have a tin roof, so when it rains, it's like music...I love it!

Everytime they forecast rain on the news, they say it as if it's a bad thing. We even call it "bad weather." We say it's an "ugly day."

What's ugly about it? I think rain is one of the most beautiful things nature has to give us. Throw in some lightning and I'm thrilled.

I say it too, but I really do enjoy a nice thunderstorm. Try sitting in your car, or truck during a good storm, and listen to Dark Side of The Moon [Pink Floyd]

It's magical, but don't forget to burn one prior...

Me and a couple old friends from high school have this yearly ritual during the rainy season out here in California. When we hear there's going to be a big storm coming through on a weekend we'll call each other up and arrange to get together. Then we'll throw on the goretex jackets, grab a bunch of dank, and head out to the Redwood forest. It's so awesome hiking around in the redwoods when it's pouring rain. The trees are huge, like 200' tall and wider than a car. Usually there's clouds or fog in the hills so you can't even see the tops of the trees, they just fade into the mist. Fucking awesome! We've done it at least once a year for the past 12 years.

Oh hell yes, it is. I've been to the redwoods. Those are my favorite trees. I would plant some here, but I'm afraid I would be dead long before they ever got that big.

I like rain storms, but I love snow storms. Smoking in the snow is so much fun
