No. It is totally safe to humans and mammals.

In India they sometimes use neem twigs with the ends chewed up as toothbrushes.

It's organic! Comes from the nut of the neem tree.They use it for many purposes in India.That's where the tree originated.Some awsome stuff,if ya got a pest problem or not.Kills all stages of spidermites as well as stopping a reinfestation. Makes a coat of armor,so to speak.

Used in proper protons it's fine but anything your use to excess can be harmful.

How is it that you guys know all this about Neem? Are you scientists, or botanists? And just because you can eat something safely, it doesn't mean that you can smoke it safely. Don't spray neem on any plant part that you intend to later smoke, especially the flowers. Stop, or risk health problems when you're finally my age! I can't tell you how many things I did when I was young that seemed harmless, that now that I'm older I wish I hadn't done & am finally paying for!
