Well, I guess about 8 months out of the year, I buy, the rest in between, is simple electricity and few supplies (soil, mediums), so I'm guessing, $1400 or so. Damn! That's a lot.

That was me...

Cause I've only smoked like...6months out of the year, AT MOST. I got caught and took a 4 month break, and now I have to take another break cause I got random drug tested...

I bought about 5 "dimes" from someone, then 80 for an "ounce" (now I know it was only half...) then I bought a Q for $25 once, then $50 for 12g, and then I got 14g for $50, and now I just dropped $30 for a half (friend pitched in $10 for 2g)

So thats 50+80+25+50+50+30=285

Yeah, I was definitely off...my bad. I really didn't think I spent that much. Oh well. Heh... Still my $250 guess wasn't too far off. I'm not a frequent buyer I don't think, so I'm surprised it added up.

man this makes me feel bad.. me and the roomie buy an eighth a day @40 so 20 per day... 140 a week x 52 weeks year = 7280... now its not always an eighth a day but jesus.

Okay lets see: on average I'd say , me and the wife buy about 3 qaurters a payday (sometimes more sometimes less, thats 60x3 = 180 every 2 weeks)( i know why not just buy an oz? when we buy an oz at one time we go through it so much quicker) so 180 every 2 weeks x 26 = about 4,680 a year, but properly more, thats sad............

Stuff like disel i get free from where i work, and i dont eat much expensive stuff, but i always pay the bills first, get the food first,and the rest goes on weed. Put it this way, i aint got much in my account.

Hang on i just read the rest of the posts and some people are talking about growing bills too. Well the only thing i payed for in the last year was a 250 watt MH conversion bulb which was cheap as fuck, and the lighting bills, which aint that much. Never mind, it wont even scratch on what i pay for weed when i buy it.

Lip you spend 10 grand a year on buying weed. You then grow some aswell? You have also said in another thread that you spend 5 quid a packet a day on cigs, you buy 2 packs a day. So thats another 3650 quid. Youre in England so its in UK pounds. Thats 13.5 k a year just on smoking cigs and weed.

Back to subject I go through 1/8 every fortnight at the moment. WHich is a quarter a month. 40 quid a quarter x 12 = 480 quid a year.

That sounds alot to me. And thats only buying 3 ounces a year! If I could grow it I would only have to grow a couple of plants a year.

Also for me its not only recreational but also medcinal, if i dont smoke i get really bad head aches, so i need to have a joint every cuple of hours, that's how i get through so much without any problem... I mean, if i aint got alot i'll ration it, but if i've got loads i tend to smoke a little more than i usually do, but because i can afford it after everything else its all ok. And if i ever needed to save a little money for something, i can easily cut right down. Weed comes after everything else, and because of that, i can get as much as i can afford. :D

Guess im lucky, i get it fairly cheap anyways cos my dealer is a grower and a good friend. His custom base is only about 5 people, im probably his biggest buyer.

Hmm...I started smoking a little less than a year ago, and have only been smoking seriously everyday for about 6 months. And I started off easy..an 8th a week. Now it's more like 1/4 a week. So 50 bucks a week for 13 weeks, and 100 bucks a week for 13 weeks. Ouch. And that's just the past 6 months. 650+1300= 1950. 2 grand. Wow.
