Shisha in a bong?

shisha tobacco in a bong is not a good idea, when my hookah broke i tried it and it sucked ass, weed in a shisha (nargilleh, hookah, water pipe, whatever u call it) is great, works amazingly, just mull up the weed real well....

ok i dont get how that would work. shisha doesnt burn, it smoulders, which is why you use a coal instead of just lighting it like you would weed. weed burns, doesnt smoulder, so how would putting a coal on your weed work, seems like itd all just burn away or soemthing.

im not sure how it works, but from personal experience i can tell you it does, i usually put a thin layer of shisha tobacco, thim layer of weed, thin layer of shisha, thin layer of weed and one 3rd and final layer of shisha, put coal on top of that (no silver foil or tin coal cover needed).

I started out with a hookah as my first piece of pariphanelia. The dont realy waste weed at all and they get you mad fucked in no time (smoke is smooth as hell!). Weed alone in a hookah is fine if its not too dry (nice sticky buds are great!). The coal only heats up hot enough to burn the weed/shisha when you drag on the hose so you only get smoke when you pull. Ive found a good way to work in dry weed or even to add flavor to your smoke (though bud alone is amazing when chilled through a hookah!) is to lay a thin/moderate layer of shisha (keeps the weed from going down the holes in the bowl and slows the burn rate) then your herb and then a thin layer of shisha again. I dont usualy mix it up too much the tobacco keeps the weed from touching the coal, but you can to add more to your taste. Im not sure but its almost making a mild vapor smoke since as stated it smolders not burns, but to my understanding when THC hits a certin temp its released like in a vaporizer. All in all its a great way to smoke your bud, especialy with ice water/cubes!

I never tried it w/o foil, why do you do it that way? Is there an improvement with the way it burns? Do tell.

im sure you would get more thc out of it since its not touching a direct flame or anything that can waste thc. all i know is its probably the best way to chill with a group of people man. as for the tin foil, im sure its just there because its an easy way to make sure the coal doesnt make direct contact with the sheesha.

I smoked sheesha in my bong for a while, never tried it with weed. I quit doing it because I thought it may be adverse towards my health, the taste was normally great. I found it burned best with a little hand-held torch rather than any ordinary lighter.
