Ciggs are shit, and a waste of time, money and life. Take it from someone who smoked for many years than quit. It's a waste of time.

Don't get hooked on nicotine! My husband and I almost never fight (been married 40 years!). A happy stoner marriage. :pimp: :stoned: What was our very first fight about??? Tobacco. 40 years ago, we were down to a bit of change- pay day would be the next day. HE wanted to buy a pack of Camels and go hungry that night. I wanted to buy some food. We compromised (he was not very happy about it, though)- we got him a bag of Bull Durham tobacco and I got a can of tuna and some mac and cheese (which we shared). He prefered his tobacco over both of us eating! That is addiction. He still smokes tobacco- his health is far worse than mine- his fingers and toes are always cold to the touch, he coughs a lot and he doesn't want to even think about lung cancer! His habit will make a widow out of me yet! :( He has promised to quit so many times. "When a pack of cigarettes hits a dollar....$2. When a bag of Bugler hits a dollar... When I get out of jail...off probation. When I hit 50...60...(and now) 65 (end of this month). Thousands of dollars gone up in smoke (and no high to it either) and a husband getting sicker each day and still smoking! Is this what you want for yourself and those you love? Tobacco shuts down the little blood vessels in your hands and feet making them cold, but it shuts down the ones in your brain and other parts of your body (yes, THAT one too- impotence is very common among older male tobacco addicts). Everyone knows about the cancer link with tobacco. An ex-heroin addict once told me that "tobacco is harder to kick than heroin- at least with heroin, you don't find half-filled syringes lying on the sidewalk! Tobacco butts are everywhere!" (He still smoked tobacco, incidentally.) I can remember my husband looking in gutters for half-smoked cigarettes to feed his habit. Did you know, a SINGLE DROP of pure NICOTINE placed on a rabbits ear, will kill the rabbit (rather unpleasantly) in hours! Think about it! I love my husband, but he usually stinks of tobacco! Breath, hands, clothes- YUCK! This is a stinky, dangerous, unsexy drug that slowly kills you! Smoke pot! Moderate use raises IQ, it apparently kills cancer cells, protects against Alzheimer's and is a heck of a lot more fun!  :stoned:

Cigs vs Weed? I shouldn't have to say anything, it's obvious what I'd go with and what I could be totally without lol.

I used to smoke socially when I'd be drinking or clubbing. I've now stopped smoking socially as one point I was sociallising so much that I began smoking when I wasn't socialising (growing addiction), also (before that^) that I realised it was making me feel sick when I was under the influence of alot of alcohol.
I'm only going to go with one of them, I'm sure you know which ;)

At one point in time I smoked weed every single day for months straight and felt great, but then I smoked cigs for ONLY A WEEK and felt like shit!!! I quit right away. I didn't get addicted, but my health was decreasing for sure.
I couldn't believe how terrible cigs are!

I have smoked for the past year and went 10 months without not having a fag a day, and an average of probably 4 or 5 a day. but i decided enough was enough and managed to give it p easily! show what you can do if you really want to. my thought was..
you either see yourself smoking for the rest of your life and shortening your life knowingly or if you dont then every single cig will be making it harder to quit in the future. that thought scared me enough into quitting!

smoking butts is a shitty habit. but if u smoke a cig while your completely blazed then it gets u just that much higher...it feels almost like a disconnect from yuor boddy...but otherwise steer clear of tobacco...and for that matter hard drugs:rasta: :pimp: :stoned:

I thought the same thing till I smoked a port when I was high. It's the shit. Everytime I smoke a port when I'm high it always changes my high and gets me that much more pilt.
I also heard that one joint of weed is 5x as bad as a cig or something like that. But in these days it is hard to know what facts are propaganda and what is the truth.

I always hated cigs... but i've been "smoking socially" as everyone here calls it. But now i've found myself smoking them by myself too :( I think i'm going to have to force myself to stop before I get too addicted.

But weed I will never stop smoking completely ;)

pot all the way man, i started smoking cigs when i got put on probation, it just makes it that much easyer not to smoke, but as soon as im off of probation im gona kick the habbit. plus i seem to be pretty lucky, ill for some reason just light a cig, not because i ahve to, i just do, and after a puff i wont want it, not at all, cant even stand to smell it and put it out.

I never smoked tobacco before until i started blazing with english people. No more spliffs for me though, only pure ganja. I don't care how anti social that is. My health comes first. I fucking despise tobacco and the industry.

I smoked both for a while, but i quit smoking cigarettes about a week or two ago. It was pretty easy for me to quit though, I haven't even felt the need to smoke a cigarette after the third day.

To me smoking cigs and weed used to go hand in hand. My routine was that I would get home from work, pack my pipe, sit on my front porch, blaze the pipe then blaze a cigarrette. I was a happy boy.

Eventually of course the cigs started fucking up my health. I was coughing constantly and I couldn't talk without having to clear my throat several times. I started getting pretty bad headaches too. So i went to the doctor and he prescribed wellbutrin to help me kick my cigarrette addiction.

6 months and no cigarrettes later I have never felt better in my life. The extra money is nice also. I noticed too that I have alot more free time. I didn't realized smoking took up that much time.

So to answer the question, weed is alot better way to go than cigarretees. All I've had to do is change where and when I smoke after work so It doesn't feel like I'm missing something after the pipe has been blazed.
