okay, I have a couple plants atm and I think one is gonna be male, so I want to try cross breeding, the thing is, I dont understand how the hell it works, so ill tell you what i do know,
if the male pollen lands on the female flower, the flower turns into more male pollen sacs, and male pollen sacs dont make seeds, so how do you crossbreed? its confusing me already, another idea i had was that if you pollinated a part of the plant, would the seeds from the rest of the plant have those genes in them? im soo confused, can someone help???:(

cant quite understand all of your question but a female plant should not develop male pollen balls regardless if it gets pollinated or not, the pods will swell as the seed develops but this is not a male pollen ball and doesnt even really look like one.

hello Abattoir Dream
in order for you to cross breed a plant you need ya 2 strains one female and one female lol
the only way you can cross breed is to turn ya female to seed
you do this by leaving the male plant in the same room with the female
a fan blowing on ya male will help to spread the pollen around the female,
thats it instead of ya female making bud it will produce seeds !!
but if you only want a couple of seeds you can keep ya male plant in a difrent room and collect the pollen that falls off
then take this and start dabbing it on the little white hairs of the female bud with a paintbrush
if you do this to say 2 buds you will produce seed and the rest of the plant will produce just bud
and you still get a smoke from the plant
hope this helps m8
cheers all :)

I don't understand why people find this confusing...maybe too much misinformation.....it is just like sex. Male has sperm, sperm meets female, female gets impregnated and produces seeds (babies). I think that busteruk7 had a typo, he/she meant one male and one female.

I had to add this "Let me tell you about the birds and the bees and the flowers and the trees...." now that is in my head, lol.

i see, thats weird, last time i found male flowers on my plant, and they spread pollen to a lower branch when i was pulling it off, it didnt make seeds, just more pollen sacs, thats why i was so confused

right, it wouldn't make seeds unless it was a hermaphrodite. The pollen can't impregnate itself unless the plant itself has both male and female parts. Hope that helps.
busteruk7-no problem, and it is nice to meet you Sir. LOL.

on emight also add that the seed you get from the female, is the cross breed result..... so, abbator dream. get a male and a female in the same room. throw alittle wind, (this is like blowing in her ear) you let them do their thing
(remember what you did with your girl friend) only plants do it a little diferently.
when seeds are pruduces this is like when your girlfriend comes to you and says she's pregnant. then you plant these seeds (refusing to get the abortion)
and wa la the product that you grow is your cross breed plant. a whole new plant that you can name and call your own... that is unless you kill it....:smokin:
