When did you realized the world/reality is full of pain and suffering? No one asked us to live on plant earth..We were sent here by parents. I am scared to have kids because why would I want them to grow up in this wasteland called earth? To feel pain for the first time, To feel a deep sorrow. And than put them threw the brainwashing school systems where they break you like I was broken. And than to enter the endless struggle of the rat race, Forsed to learn the ways of the world or parish tryin. You are just one out of a billion apon billion other people that wonder this earth. Everyone seems depressed, No one seems happy everyone is out for themselfs. The World does not care if you "succeed" in this life or not.

I guess I started realizing the truth after Mary Jane opened my eyes.

Why are we HERE???

All and all, your just another brick in the wall..

Be the change you want to see in the world...might rub off on others...

You shouldn't worry about all the bad things, you should enjoy the good.

I guess it was when I moved to Canada from Holland. I got jumped by a couple guys and they really fucked me up leaving in the hospital for a few days, followed by months and months of rehabilitation, mentally and physically. I'm a very bitter person because of it.

I'm not bitter in a sense where, I won't help an elder out, or give my seat the girl with to the baby carriage, I do that shit, but when it comes to the actions that human beings choose to make, is what bothers me. What bothers me the most is us humans want others to fix what we have destroyed. When will we learn? :(

Then things started coming into play after that. Kids were harsh to me in hig school, then the Columbine shootings happened, then a bunch more copycat shootings followed, then 9/11 happened. I mean, we are watching a war live on television, watching people die, our own people die, for no good reason, AT ALL, and people wonder why this generation is so angry...because there is so much negativity being shown everywhere.

Creations wonder birthed
of a virginal mass
within this darkened void
life was born.

Mother earth
is but the hand of God
creating a paradise
even unto this day...

Existing to nurture mankind

The earth, the waters
the air, and life.
Dominion granted
over all these things.

A king of sorts
weâ??re living
within this
earthly realm...

Yes, in Eden we surly dwell.

i know exactly what your feeling the world seems like a horrible place and with the way things are going were on a downward spiral, i relized this when i was fuckin 11 thanks to getting shit shoved in my face by other people but if more people relize the problems of the world and do more than saying screw it it doesnt effect me now, we might have the world going in the right direction

Well I figured it out when I dropped out of school to help my mom recover. She had a gastric bypass (stomach stapled) and ended up in a coma for 3 months. I had to help her learn everything all over again. How to write how to feed her self how to walk. I dressed her wound which at the time was about a foot long and 4 inches deep she no longer has a belly button I love to tease her about that, I wiped her butt went the theraphy with her, I did everything. I realized life is too short to complain about the small things and to live life the best way you can. The world is cruel and harsh but only if you look at it that way. There are alot of beautiful things and nice loving people the world has to offer and you just have to want to see it.

Life is wayyyy too fucking short to let all the negativities get to you.
The media makes a decade seem like such an important lengthy amount of time,
the 60's the 70's etc, but it's not. 1997 to 2007... Passed in the blink of an eye for me, and i'm still young, time hasn't sped up to maximum acceleration yet for me.

Don't waste the time you've been given. Thinking you have a long time to do things always leads to doing nothing.
GRAB LIFE BY THE BALLS.
And then fuckin squeeze until you've got arthritis and your hands are too weak.
And by then, marijuana should be legalized. Move somewhere to enjoy nature, smoke up, and live out the rest of your days laughing.

I guess when I was about 12 is when I figured the world sucked because I was catching beatings that would have killed others and I still had to go on. That was why I turned into a drug addict but, I figured that all out too and quit.
The world don't give a fuck and neither do I. Just leave me and mine alone to do what we do. We hurt no one and break no laws and have some morals.

I posted something similar on another board, and thought it was relevent to this thread.

I was baked when I wrote it, so... I've read that we live in a conscious universe, and that we are part of that consciouness...that everything is dependent upon our personal perceptions, subjective experience, reaction, and stimuli.

I've read that cells have intelligence as well (A kind of conscious existence) that they perform both assigned tasks, yet also work independently as an individual. This means, they can choose to go against the grain. It might be suggested that when we are out of the natural order of things, our cells react to this 'disorder', and sometimes jump the ship causing all kinds of health problems. it's an intersting concept, but I don't think we have any control over what a single cell does, or how it reacts to stimuli.

The same is true with our world. It is chaotic because the natural order has been interupted by mankind, but my personal philosophy is that we need a bit of disorder in mankinds current state of being, as it can remind us to appreciate the more pleasant things in life.

Poverty can be overcome with a simple acceptance, and appreciation of what we 'do' possess. (it's all in the mind)

Sickness can ironicly calm distress, and many cancer paitients exibit great serenity, love, and compassion even though they are deathly ill.

Perception is everything, and we create our realities on a mental plane.

We can't control everything that happens in life, but we are in control of how we respond, and react to certain events. Consciouness, and our abilty to adapt, accept, and find peace in chaos, is a remarkable thing, imo.

"What we think, we are." (or can be on a mental level)

Happiness, serenity, joy, pleasure, pain, distress, and bitterness are only our minds telling us how to feel, or react to stimuli. In this sense, we are in control, as we have the ability to feel what we want to feel. (emotionaly, mentaly, spiritualy)

Our view of the world is dependent upon how we "choose" to perceive the world. (It's a choice.)

Things are only as bad as we make them, imo...

If you're a teen, it'll pass. You'll have some kind of epiphany, then your world view will change a little, but it'll be forced to change once you turn 18 and get thrown into the real world, if it hasn't already gotten better by then. Seriously, I'm 17, I'll be on my own in just a few months, and I still feel like a kid. Nothing's different, but the world is gonna be expecting me to be the man, and if I don't, or can't, or won't, or whatever, then I'll just end up failing at life. :(

So, in other words, either do some soul searching/psychadelic drugs, or wait for society to bitch slap you with a lethal dose of reality. Either way, I hope it doesn't hurt you too much, man. Growing up is painful, but it'll all be over with before you know it.

When did you realized the world/reality is full of pain and suffering? ..

This is a prime concept in Buddhism. Now that you have come to realize this you must come to accept it and get over it. You can't change the fact that there is suffering in the world. Understand that everyone, and I mean everyone must face this basic concept. Just realize that shit happens and you can't escape that fact so don't worry about it. Concentrate on the good instead.

If something bad happens to you, learn from it then forget about it. If you can prevent it from happening again do so. But never dwell on things that happend in the past. Always look forward and look for the good in life.
