This past weekend I had the pleasure of smoking at one of the most incredible places in the world. Seriously! Glacier Point in Yosemite National Park. It's about 2,000 feet straight up from the floor of Yosemite Valley and you can see for miles and miles. I got completely baked and just stared out at the scenery. If you've never been and get a chance, defintely take it. here's a couple of pics I took.

Amazing scenery, man! Nature is almost always the best setting for a bake. Count yourself among the lucky. Not everyone gets a chance to witness such beauty.

Here's a couple other pics, these taken in Yosemite Valley itself. It was great going in November as it wasnt to cold yet and the place wasn't filled with hordes of tourists. Yosemite's only about 3 1/2 hrs from San Francisco so it's easy for me to go on the weekend but I cant wait until next May when I'm planning on a week there. I'll have to stock plenty of SF medical marijuana for the trip :smokin:

Over the summer i went to Big Bend national park in southwestern Texas. I hiked the 3rd highest mountain in Texas, 9450ft. The greatest veiw i have ever seen. on a clear day you could see the city we were staying in which was over 60 miles away.

from that spot

im doing the john muir trail in august
from happy isles to whitney portal

have you been to the hetch hetchy area
in spring its a must
the walk to rancheria falls is a lot of fun

hey friendowl. I kinda figured if anyone on this board had been there it would be you. I know what you mean about that nut tingle feeling.

I'm jealous, I'd love to do the JMT. 20 days is pretty aggressive. Doable, but that's 10+miles of hard terrain per day. I did 100 or so miles of the PCT , from Sonora pass to Tuolumne Meadows, in 10 days and it was pretty tough. You'll have an extra 100miles and steeper/higher terrain. Good luck and remember to bring plenty of "entertainment"

I'll have to check out Hetch Hetchy sometime. I've been in Yosemite literally hundreds of times but never made it down there. Maybe this spring...

funny thing is
when im on trail
i find myself so much in awe
that smoking isnt necesary
i think an ounce should be enough

next spring you should really check out hetch hetchy
in a way i like it more than the valley
its a great place to spend time with famoly [especially the lil ones]
the trail is flat and follows the shoreline the entire way
great backpacking sites at rancheria falls

next time i go im going to do the cables at half dome
and some place called clouds rest
at glacier point people actually sit on that rock [snoopy rock]
if you slip you die

i love yosemite
