*sigh* i still can't believe my glass broke. i was coming back into my buddy's house from smoking a bowl out near an abandoned house, and when i got inside and took my hoody off, my glass fell out of my hoody pocket and busted all over his floor. :( as i was picking it up, i just kept staring at the broken pieces and thinking about all the good times i had with that piece and couldn't believe that it was over between us. i was planning on getting a digital camera soon so i could take a few pics of it (i've never put any up on here) for you guys to see. that's the end of Lady Jane, my beloved glass pipe.
R.I.P. :(

Damn that sucks man. I'll cry if I ever break my pipe or bubbler. Thats why I plan to keep them at home, lower chance of them breaking.

Dude i dont think he cares about the money its just the memories it holds. Yah man i feel yah a beautiful piece named skrinkles that my friend bough long ago went through the hands of me and all my friends(each of us used it for several weeks) and then finally one of the brotherhood (those who have used it) broke it on a place called the black hill. Also my friend is selling his super great bong. Like itll never last forever its gotta break or leave in some form. Best way is to remember it but not mourn it.

yeah, i got my piece for free, so the money isn't the issue here. i mean, that piece was like one of my best friends. i have soooo many memories with that thing. i mean, that was the link between me and my friends. it's what we would almost always smoke out of whenever we got together. anyway, i'm either gonna carve my new piece or i'm gonna get one of my brothers/older friends (they're all over 18) to go down to a headshop and buy me one.

I've only broken one piece inb my life, and it was my first glass spoon I ever bought, about, 6 yrs ago. It was the BEST pipe though. It was a color changing one and the colors were so bright a vibrant. I haven't been able to find one like it since. :(
I have one glass spoon that is very hard to break. I bought it from a custom glass blower in his garage shop, and he told me a story about one of his pipes that got taken from the cops when pulled over. He told me the cop tried smashing it on the ground, wouldn't break, and after many tries, it took a solid stomp from his boots to break it. It still didn't shatter, it just broke in two. He then took a glass spoon and starting smashing it against his workbench...didn't even chip, so I had him make me one.
I try not to buy thin glass either. All the glass i have is pretty thick but could still easily break if dropped at a funny angle.

I've never broken any of my pieces so i guess I'm lucky. two of my friends and I boiled our pieces once though and like we got stoned so we forgot to check the water. Most of it evaporated and made one of my friends pipes break in half. Mine has a small crack in it now, but it's barely noticable and doesn't affect it.
Oh, I had a shurlock one time and i gave it to one of my friends. Her mom ended up breaking it a few months later. That kind of pissed me off because that was a really cool piece. Hated to see it go.

didn't somebody at some point put up a tutorial as to how to make/carve your own wooden pipe?
