ok! my friend got some seeds and he grew them and this is what we got!

what strain does this look like? we are not sure but we do know it is bomb! lol

It could very well be a temp change. thats what seems most likely.
but assuming that it isn't the temps fault, i wouldn't even know where to start as to what strain that is... im guessing it's some sort of indica because of the longer, skinny leaves poking out through the bud.
the best way to tell my friend, is simply to roll a fat blunt of that herb, and keep smokin till you get straight down to the roach. always works for me!

lol, long skinny leaves are a sign of a sativa, fat short leaves are a sign on indica, but there no realy way to tell without smoking it and accessing the high or stone, but even then, no one can be sure because i may have been harvested too early or too late.
If it gets you high, its good.

No way. You couldnt have smoked purple erkle if you think that looks like it. There's very few strains you can guess, and be anywhere near to right, but this is one of them, it's blackberry.

Deep purple strains I can think of off the top of my head that would look like that:
Blackberry
Black Russian
Lightstorm
Purple Star (It's actually less red than those pics I think)
There's a couple others that would produce calyxes that color, but the bud leaves would also be dark purple.. like Twilight

It is blackberry. Pic is from overgrow.com. Yes it was from a guy who passed on. He had a serious and painful medical condition not spoken about openly on the forums. That's why he grew/smoked. The strain came from some random bagseed he had and decided to grow, out popped the weed in that pic.
I remember him saying he wanted to keep it because of how sick it looked, and otherwise it wasn't that potent. He wanted to cross it with other strains to keep the look and gain the potency. And since it was random bagseed and not knowing where it came from, yes, that's why it is only available by clones.
It is called blackberry, and in a pic taken with a bigger view, he had knott's (berry farm) boysenberry jam jar. I have that pic of it saved, and of the one that rottenPauL posted. The one I'm talking about, you can see that it has the blue with gold weaving that you see in the background of the pic this biter posted. It's from a crown royal mirror, and the blue on the left is from a crown royal box. Let's see if I can put the pic I have up along with the one he posted and the one that rottenPauL put up. Good job on finding that pic rottenPauL. The bigger one I have, you can see the angle the first pic was taken from and zoomed in from.
If I can't I might ask some people here to throw out some free pic hosting sites.
I used to browse around overgrow randomly at times just to look at pics. I saw the blackberry and always wanted to get a piece of it, so I did as much researching as I could on overgrow. I thought I had saved some of the posts about it in a text file but I guess I didn't or I lost it cuz I can't find it anywhere.
So, jpt_132, do you wanna fess up? It's funny how you say "but we do know it is bomb!" because I specifically remember him telling us that it wasn't potent. Now that's something to "lol" at.
How random is this shit that I come in here for the first time just wanting to find some random weed pics and the first thread I go to is this? Lmao, the "looks red" attracted me to it. And I would have posted this earlier but I had to register and therefore wait to be activated.
Oh, and btw, nice to find a nice alternative to overgrow, and Hi to all here. A big RIP to overgrow. Good luck to RC whereever you are, I hope you're ok and things are looking up for you. You didn't deserve that bullshit.

Oh and on a sidenote, I remember also people talking about how some people would sell "blackberry" strains when they really weren't the actual blackberry that this thread pertains to. They pointed out vendors that would do things like cross black domina with something like blueberry and come out with blackberry.

The pics that AR15 have look just like our bud only ours has less red bud as we thought.... and it is starting to produce more of the typical green with white crystals!
