HELP!!! How do I make hash???

Ok I have a spacecase grinder with the keif catcher. but I do not have a keif press..... HOW can I make Hash without the Keif Press??? I did find something online a while ago on how to press it but now I cant find that website anywhere... Please help!

i put it in a folded up playing card and pressed it under my book case which weighs like 250+lbs. then i just rotated it occasionally

This is how I press my kif, easy, very easy.

I take the kif and I press it tightly into the corner of a plastic baggy. I fold it up, tightly, into a small, squarish shaped pack, I then take tape to close it shut. I then take a sledgehammer, a small one, not aibg one of course, and I start tapping the bag down, turn it over, tap some more with pressure increasing with each blow. After about 2min of hammering the small bag, I then unwrap it and there I have a nice, compressed, blonde colored piece of hash.

I do it all the time and it works great. Give it a shot.

It sounds silly when I tell people about it, but it really works. It's extreme pressure which it needs to press.

another way is to ---put keif between two quarters wrap with some tape then use a car jack to press it ....if you have a old truck or a friend does it works the best ---find a flat spot on the frame under the engine and lift the truck up good and high
leave it there for a little bit like an hour or less---


FURTHER ---I wouldnt think scientifically or commen scence wise that UNEVEN pressure would make hash ----like hammering around it ----maybe hammering straight down into a shaft ..or something----

Making hash out of keef is a waste of energy! Just smoke the stuff as it is! Compressing keef into hash only having to heat it and crumble it back into its powdery state to smoke it, is much like a dog chasing his own tail. The more that you fool around with keef, the more it will loose its potentcy.

I've done it plenty of times and works just fine for me. I don't know where you got 10grams of kif = 1gram of hash. I weigh my kif before I press it, and it comes to the same weight as it was kif. Maybe 10grams of busted buds=1 gram of hash, but hash is just pressed kif. It doesn't lose weight. Where would that weight go? It doesn't just dissapear, you know.

Pressure + kif=hash. It doesn;t have to even pressure at all. All I know is that it takes me only 2 bong rips from my hash to get me high, so I must be doing something right.

The only reason I press the hash is kif is just too powdery and sticky. I find it much easier to handle when pressed, that's just me though. I do agree though, it does lose potency everytime you handle it, but not so much where it bothers me.

That's strange that High Times would print that because it is misleading. I mean, maybe you lose a little weight, like .1 or .2 or something. Maybe it was a misprint seeing as that 10grams of busted up grass should create 1 gram of kif, that makes more sense. Also saying that with every strain of cannabis is false as well. Some strains carry more trichs thus making more hash/kif.

Who knows though, but all I was saying is that pressing it the way I explained works just fine for me. I've done it about 4 times now and I'm happy about it.

You can press it anyways you want to really, you just need heavy, very heavy pressure, and heat to if you want, but heat isn't really needed.

i wrap my kif in pice of a plastic bag and make it into a ball and then wrap rubber bands around it very tightly and wrap about 5 rubber bands around it and throw it around and play around with it for half a day or so and it comes out as a very hard rock that is difficult to cut with a knife. Its fun thats why i do it, probably the same reason a dog chases his tail.

I have a couple of plastic-lined small metal containers 3/4" X 2" and as I collect in each container I tamp down and compress lightly towards the back, but its always close to being powder though. I find indica strains yield the most kiff from buds. I use the different containers to save different styles of kiff; one for sativas, one for indicas and one reserved for special occations (the xtra yummy super potent goods that I only find once in a bluemoon). On average I harvest almost 10% by weight of kiff from my buds.
