i was wondering if this intake/exhaust window fan will work for ventillation in my 2x7 foot closet . here's the fan that i have http://www.laskoproducts.com/fans/model_2138.html . and also this sounds stupid, but what setting should i put the fan on? both intake? both exhaust? or one intake and one exhaust?

i should also mention i have a 400 watt mh bulb running at the moment, with an oscilating fan blowing on it.

That fan is for a window it appears. Personally I would never buy an exhaust fan that did not have a CFM rating to let you know how much air it moves. Your question would be answered by a simple CFM rating and a little reading on the proper size CFM depending on your grow space.

looks like a normal bathroom/kitchen fan, it will be better than nothing but it wont move much air, if its reaaly cheap and you can get away with it ( temperature wise ) then great, but i get the feeling you will have a temp build up. if you already have the fan, then set it up and run it and see how it goes :)
