to anyone who is available, no need to be a Nevada resident for this act of unity : ... come to anywhere in Nevada this Tuesday, Nov. 7th ... all you have to do is stand on a busy street corner with a home-made VOTE YES ON QUESTION #7 sign ... try to look respectable, be a shining example of a responsible toker ... this VOTE IS CLOSE !!! ... polls indicate it can go either way with just a few votes ..... I'm driving over to Reno on Tuesday, and add my presence to the struggle ... WE ARE TOO CLOSE TO LET THIS ONE SLIP BY... MPP, Marijuana Policy Project, has slaved over this issue, and is worthy of your help and contributions ... LET'S GO GET THEM, PEOPLE !!

I love this initiative and wish it well and to pass. It can set a great example for the other states. Why spend money to bust harmless people for smoking it when you can get money from them when they buy it? Finally...Alcohol and marijuana equalization.

I live in California but can't drive unfortunately. You know I'd be there though, I'll be praying for the passing of this law.

Submitted on November 7, 2006 - 3:51pm.

Hello All,

We are getting multiple reports of polling locations packed with Question 7 supporters, and we are getting an incredible response at the doors and on the phones. It looks like our people are turning out!

Polls close in a little over 3 hours. PLEASE get out and vote Yes on 7, and then jump on the phone bank to help us push out the vote. History may only be a little more than 3 hours away...

THIS FROM A MPP Link ... Marijuana Policy Project started this ball rolling ...

I see we also lost the bid for Medical Marijuana in South Dakota ... but, we did win a measure to "make marijuana enforcement the lowest priority for law enforcement" in Santa Barbara, CA, and Missoula County, MT ... :smokin:

It failed, booo. If I were a Nevada resident (or Colorado), I would certainly have voted yes to legalizing. But...you're right, loss or not, that was a pretty decent showing, better in Nevada than in Colorado. Hopefully it will eventually pass, just need to better educate the people, and get more voters to go vote.

the only people that came out ahead on these ballots, are control freaks, and drug dealers ... now kids can continue to buy their grass from a gangbanger in an alley, and maybe get some meth and crack at the same time ... way to go, voters ...
