 Okay. So the Naked part got you here!
:rasta: Seasoned Vets: Please, if my plants look great tell me why you think so! And if you see an issue, PLEASE HELP! This is my 1st full cycle grow!
 Newbies: If this is you everytime you look at your plants, you are probably over watering, over feeding, over fertilizing AND more!
:smokin: 1st and 2nd posts submitted are photos from the beginning to today. (some of these are posted on my hydro thread too...)
 The cabinet was just finished today. Before now, the plants have been vegging under 160 watts of tube flouros.
:D Thanks for any help and good fortune to all in your grow attempts!
:what: What should the temp and humidity be??? I need to adjust the ventilation I am sure!

I am going to 12/12 and closing my cabinet now. What should the humidity and temp be???

Temp 88 Humidity 41
The temps are a little high...increased potential for males or hermies..I'd try for a little more ventilation if possible, get it closer to 75.

75 isnt going to happen. I will do some work though... I am shooting for low 80s I think at this point. After all, the bedroom is probably 80...
What about humidity? Can I remove some of those water trays??? I hope???

Hey HighSeekerz
I like the pvc and cardbroad grow box.I would paint it white on the inside.
Get a small fan and cut a hole in the side near the top to suck out some heat.Put a 6" or 8" fan down low to circulate some air around the plants.
This should drop the temp in the box alittle.

HighSeekerz,
I forgot the say put the light ballast out side of the box, that will stop some of the temp problem.

put a fan blowing 'up' towards the lamp, that will help move the hot air away from the plants ... I didn't leave enough room in my last cabinet for a big oscillating fan, so that's what I wound up doing ... it did help ... :smokin:

Thanks guys for the input. It is VERY MUCH appreciated.
I am LSTing and still in Veg while I sort out the heat issue...
I closed the flap for 3 hours. When I opened it, it was 90.1...
1. I am going to MOVE THE BALLAST. I am a DUMBASS for putting it inside the box and not on top! The top is 1/2 plywood... I have moved it OUTSIDE the box just now!
2. I have sealed the ring around the glass globe so my exhaust fan is pulling all the air directly from the bulb. (it was duct taped and the tape slowly slipped off. Now it is foil...still temporary)
3. The carbon/dryer sheet vent box I am building will sit on top as well. I have put TWO intakes in it so I can add another exhaust fan if I have to... From the top of the cabinet where the heat gathers... If I dont need it, I will use that end as the exhaust.
I am going to close the flap for an hour...
I am looking for a clip on fan that runs on A/C, not D/C...
4. Those silver things go back in my cars ASAP. I have removed the top one. I will paint the inside white before the next batch:), but for now, I will do the paper thing I think...

These plants have now been harvested. The larger produced 3.5 OZ and the smaller produced 2.5 OZ.
I am unable to upload pics, so have not posted since I went from veg to flower, etc...
I will be posting in my Grow Log once I get my 2nd grow started.
