â?¢ Started seedlings in cup of warm water with a cap of peroxide to help soften up the shell. 4 Papaya, 4 Bubblicious, and 1 KB seed from a friend.
â?¢ Seeds showed roots after two days. KB seed was a little shy but was breaking through the shell. I planted the nine seeds in 3â? pots on the 23rd of October and it is now the 26th and two bubblicious and two papaya have started to show some signs of popping their heads above the soil.
â?¢ Only 8 out of 9 have risen above the soil, and they are the 4 Papayaâ??s, and the 4 Bubblicious, but where is the KB? Dead and put to rest, she never showed her face to me. However, my 8 youngsters are 10 days growing since I planted them in soil. Here are some pictures of them from the beginning and up to today. I call it, â??Weedâ??s Storyâ?â?¦

Not sure about the feeding I was told you could feed once you had your frst 5 fingered leaf. But to start on 1/4 strength nutes.

Nice assortment. I'd put the lights closer, especially if using compact fluorescent bulbs. They're off to a stretchy start.

Also, if you're watering thorougly, you shouldn't have patches of wet dirt. Or at least what looks like dirt that never saw water. Just wait until it's all mostly dry when you poke a finger down in the dirt, then water all the soil until it streams out the bottom. Then wait again until the soil is dry.

Sorry, to actually read and answer your question...Probably too early to feed in any way. Try any of these rules of thumb:

a) 3 weeks

b) a few sets of "true" multi-bladed leaves

c) when they've yellowed or have become noticibly lighter green.

d) your next transplant, if your plants have passed a or b.

Today I returned home from work and I go and get stoned, come into my room and dang!! My plants leaves doubled in size from last night. Havent fed them anything, if I was gonna start, I guess I will try foliar feeding with a real, real mild mix of water and Thrive alive B-1.
Here's what I am using for this grow:

150w HPS to start my plants off, 400w HPS for 1-2 weeks then flower them
Emergency blankets from Wal-Mart, plywood, 50 cfm exhaust,5-10 cfm intake, 2-speed fixed fan, also wiring is temporary
12lbs, Shultz Moistner PLUS Potting Mix, 2-8 dry oz's Shultz Perlite, BC Hydroponic Starter Kit, Superthrive

:o , you're lucky to still have your plants. I remember one of the members here had a mother plant and a clone that were eatten by his cats. I keep my cats far away from my plants, but I let them eat the males sometimes :p ...

Yeah I guess I am. Thanks for jumping on to my thread and positive input. My plants are loving life right now and their leaves are pointing upward towards the light. I hope I get atleast 4 females so I can clone them once. I am almost done with my grow room. Just have to seal the door and add 1-3 more locks and finish the reflective material. When the lights on its about 8--82 max, lights off its lik 75-78 degrees.

Thanks all. It is starting to smell abit, so I was just gonna put an Airwick fragrance plug in in the room to take away the smell. My supplies werent to hard to come by. I live in a small town so I ordered most of it off the internet, I use www.4hydroponics.com for my nutes. I dont work for them either so dont ask, they just have the cheapest price and quick delivery.

I fuked up today when I woke up my 150w hps wasnt working right so I was taking it out(I was still waking up) and it fell on two plants. Bubble 2, and papaya 2. Hopefully they make it. I had to upgrade to my 400w hps so I have more heat so I am addressing that tonight by trying to vent the heat from my light out through the exhaust. Here are my plants after 21 days. The top row is the papaya, and the bottom row is the bubblicious.:thumbsup:

WOW, your plants look more then great for only 21 days. Your Papaya has some pretty big secondary growth for this stage, you must be doing something right :thumbsup: . Keep up the good work :p . You know Papaya is known for needing only 20 days of veg before flowering :dance: , How much longer are you planning to keep them in the Veg cycle. If Height is not a problem, you can let them for for a total of 5 weeks and flower them with that 400w HPS you got. Their full potential can easyly be reached by they way they look now. Keep EM Green Weed4Life :thumbsup: , grow them to the max. Maybe you can do that double main cola thing you do with one of each strains :D ...

hanks all for your input. The 2 plants I attempted to kill are doing okay for now. When I switched out my lights, I noticed my 400w hps' heat output was way more, so I ran around yesterday trying to find supplies to build my own cooltube. Its nothing fancy, dont laugh cause atleast my shit works. The fan for my cool tube came from Radioshack and it is a 33cfm and it was $20.
Passthatshit- Thanks man. Trying to do it right this grow. This site helped me out so much. My first grow was bumpy, not this one.
Blaqlight- Iwasnt gonna top any plants, but I might with the clones I pull from them. I plan on vegging them for atleast another 3 weeks then flower them. I was gonna take clones from all of them, but I cant find tikki torch wicks, so I am just gonna clone the females I see when I put them into flowering stage. I am going to foliar feed in about 4 days. Heres some pics of my shit:

Well I transplanted yesterday to 8" pots and growth has been explosive since I last posted. All my plants are between 8"-12" already! Have not given any nutes except some superthrive every other watering. My temp stays between 78-84 degrees and everything is going well. I will be flowering in about 3-4 days, or I might wait till all my plants are atleast 1ft tall. I will be foliar feeding tonight when the lights go out. For my 8 plants the smell is consuming. My house smelled yesterday bad so I am about to go buy some Airwick plug-in's and some other stuff to mask the odor. Here is pictures of all my plants, first 1 is Bubblicious 1, then 2 and so on.:D

Plants are doing good, they are growing even more since transplanting them. They all have grown about 3-4 inches since I last posted. Foliar feeding went well. I made a Ghetto carbon filter, seems to be working but I must have a leak somewhere else cause I can stil smell the plants. Will try to work on it this week. No new pics till next weekend, and I still havent fed them anything but some superthrive and when I foliar fed them it was some B-1.

Here are some pictures I took real quick. I am going to start flowering tonight to determine the sex of them.Thanks for stopping by Blaqlight. My plants are doing everything on thier own, I just give them water with superthrive and I have transplanted for the last time. So I transplanted a total of three times. Hope I get some pretty girls. I guess I am not going to clone cause I cant find any wicks, but hopefully I will and just dip them in anti-wilt and throw them in dirt to see if it works that way.

Well Here are my plants on the 3rd day of flowering and they are growing so quickly, I remember When they first popped. My plants sizes range from 21" to 14". I have 3 at 21", 3 at 18" and 2 at 14".I fed them about 1/4 to 1/2 strength of BC Boost and BC Bloom. I might top the 1-3 of the taller plants due to height problems. Hopefully I dont have to get to that point.

:dance: Sorry man, been alittle hectic and will post the pictures of my girls. So as you know I had 8 plants(4 Papaya/4 Bubblicious) and 8 days ago I switched to 12/12 and by day 5 I knew thier gender. I now have 2 of each strain so I came out with 4 healthy girls showing me some hairs. I swear I will post pictures tomorrow since I am off work. My lights turn on 10am, off at 10pm so I dont want to disturb them when they are sleeping.:mad:

Well the day you all have been waiting for is here and the results are final. Outta 8 beautiful plants I have 4 females and my tallest one is 2ft 7" which is papaya 4, the one pic with the tape measure next to it. The rest are alittle behind her but I hope for an awesome crop this time around. Once I get 1 month into flowering I will plant 4 Durban Poison x Skunk #1 and hope for atleast 2 females outta the last batch before I move again.:thumbsup:

Well, space issue isnt something I will have to worry about now, but in a little while I will and thats when I will train the plants so the tops are growing sideways or something. Your plants look great, how many lights are you using? You know what I saw at either Kmart or Walmart was a 150w cfl for $10 about 2 weeks back. Since I moved my electric is half its price. later.

Thanks Weed4Life, i was thinking about getting one of those Bigger CFL or a Metal Halide @ about 150+watts, but I can't find one, plus the CFL is much much cheaper. Thigns for the heads up bro, I will try to get one this upcoming week. Right now, I have a 150w HPS and I also put in a 42w warm white light CFL for one of the bigger buds in the back to get more light. My cab isn't going to get any bigger so I have to work with what I got. I might put in the other 70w HPS I have for flowering with the 150w. and us 2 big 80watt+ CFL. :thumbsup: ...

Yeah they grew so damn quick compared to my last grow and I hardly have done any work besides building a damn box in half of my closet.
MISK- I didnt plan on having 4ft tall plants, so I am trying out some LST, but I will have to clean it up better.
BlaQLighT- I am on day 16 of flowering and I believe it was the papaya that smelt like a mild coffee smell or something. I havent really smelt my plants except a couple weeks back, they are mixed so I will try to smell 'em tonight before I go to bed.
Growth update: Tallest plant now at 3ft 7" and the rest fall a little shorter(-6in) except Bubblicious 1 which is in a bigger pot is only 2ft 6" which aint too bad since my last crop was maybe 2ft tall. Thank you all for stopping by. Stay hIgH !!

Well here are my girls at day 19 and I switched them around so they are all getting the same amount of light and every 6 days I will change them again. I dont know what happened to my last post, maybe I was high and put it somewhere else on this forum. Here are three pics and I will post updates in a week to show you the difference week by week. My plants are on full nute strength and act as thou they could handle more. I think in two weeks I will be using awesome blossoms. My mouth is watering thinking about my harvest time.:joint1:

Here are the pictures of my beautiful girls and they are growing so quick and lovely and big! I really cant wait to see my harvest. Mmmm Bubblicious!!and Papaya. Well I noticed a little burn on the tips of my leaves so I am just giving them water for a few feedings and then I will start giving them nutes again. -I think the Bubblicious is my Fav. because of the way the plant looks, the leaves are real dark, but when I look at the Papaya that is just budding like crazy and trichs are everywhere on the main cola. Its a toss up.

No problems really, other than when all but 5 of the 27 seedlings died lol. But the 4 that were females out of the 5 that survived are tough bitches. You thinking 4 oz total or 4 per plant? I'm totally lost when it comes to guessing yield just by looking. All I can tell from looking at mine is I'm gonna get a lot I think. Won't find out til harvest :jointsmile:

Well here a few updates on my plants. 2 of them have really started to fill out more and the 2nd bubblicious has started as well but a little behind. Papaya 4 is the smallest plant and was given the same care as the others, except Bubblicious 4 having a larger pot. So the pictures are as follows: I have all 4 in the 1st pic, then it goes Bubble 1, 3rd pic is Bubble 4, then 4th pic is Papaya 1, then the 5th pic is Papaya 4. They all look really trichomed out, trichs are everywhere on these plants especially the two in the back. These plants smell alot and sometimes I can smell it in my laundry room so I have been leaving that window open a little bit to have fresh air come in. I know next grow I will have to seal my box proffesionally.I should see some bulking of buds from here on, well maybe a little more growth. Not too sure tho.:D

DId I forget to mention these things are smelly. Next grow is gonna be a doosie. I am gonna try growing some huge buds. I water my plants every 2 days using 8" pots that are 14" tall.
I have to pay over $1000 in tickets I got 2 weeks ago, so everything is a learning experience. I now know not to go drinking at bars if I am driving, or call a cab.

Your plants are beautiful Weed4Life , you are doing a great job :thumbsup: . From the looks of it, you will need to tie them up soon so that the plants don't fall over and break the main stem :o . A guy on this site has a Papaya Grow Journal (GJ) going and the other day, 40 to 50 or something, one of his papaya plants (the smallest one) fell over so he had to harvested at day 50 because it was dying. SO keep your eyes open for that, it would be a bad thing for the plant to fall over and die, but it's a good thing that they would be heavy enough to fall over. I forgot to tell you that I harvested my plant on friday, it looks really good and also smells really good. Nice and frosty. Here are some piCs. Have a Merry Christmas bro & a happy New Years...

Here are some pictures of my big ass buds that smell so sweet. The bubblicious is so sticky and sweet it is amazing. I love these plants. I have already started my next grow, the Durban Poison x Skunk #1. I planted 4 so I hope to get atleast 2 females and I am gonna clone these ones for sure.

Okay for my third grow? Does anyone have any ideas for additional nutrients? I am using BC Boost, Bloom and awesome blossoms. And occasionally I will use B-1 red. Hope someone stops by and gives me props.lol it dont matter cause I know next grow should be atleast 25% more yield. No news on the Poison yet. Yeah man thats what Im doing. They look frosty to me, but not all of them are covered in it though. Tell me about work. Im putting in 50 hrs this week, but I like to work so I can make that ALL important Dollar(s) that keeps the world going round. I didnt really like those Freebie seeds cause only 1 started to germinate after 3 days; but they are in soil so I am gonna try and peak to see if I can see them popping up. I am only about 6-10 days away from harvesting so keep an eye on my thread and I will post pics as I harvest. Stay hIgh bro.

Smoked some of the Papaya and Bubblicious today and it knocked my socks off. Papaya mainly. I know I know, but I put in the microwave on LOW and it dried it really slow and I smoked about 3-4 hits and I was really stoned for about an hour or so. I got 2 Bubblicious and a Papaya going again and this time I will LST and try and get more outta them. I will take harvest pics with 5-8 days max.

I also got a pack of those Durban Poison X Skunk #1 freebies but I have heard many stories of very poor germination rates with those beans. I think Jamstinator got 1 of 10 to germ and I know of others who got none. Guess thats why they're free.

I got freebie Durban Poison X Skunk#1 from my order too, but I germed 3 and all 3 poped open and started to grow but then my cats ate them...

Things are looking really really really good W4L, Keep up he good growing. :smokin: Blaze a fatty for me, half Papaya bud/ half Bubblicious. So you think you gonna get more then 1 ounces per plant?

Actually I am gonna harvest in 2-3 days max due to the cloudiness of the Trichomes along with the amber mixed in there and it will be day 55 or 56. Its a real shame about the Durban Poison mix, I tried to germinate 5 seeds and only one started to but then part of the shell stuck to the plant and killed it so who knows. I planted 3 more seeds and they all germinated. 2 bubblicious and a papaya and I am trying to germinate a mid grade seed right now, This will be a final grow till I move next spring and on this next grow I have started, I am gonna try to breed male and female so I can get more seeds for future grows. I also thought about buying some more seeds from Seed Boutique before I move for a future grow. Thank you all for stopping by and all your comments and so forth. I have three sprouts and I am waiting for my 4th baby. I will post final pics before harvest tomorrow and also I will include some sprout pics and I am starting new journal. Stay high all.

I will post some pictures today, and iStaaHi- my grow is real simple and easy and not too expensive. If you need any help dont hesitate to ask for help. I also have 3 more sprouts going aswell. Okay here are the picture of my beautiful girls before I chop them down. These strains are highly reccommended by me and I feel the Papaya is the best due to potency.:twocents: I love the way they are so damn frosty with trichomes all over them. They smell amazing and I am super excited to find out thier weight.
My life has been a little hecktick(?) cause my wife was in the hospital needing surgery and me going to court for my first DUI.:error: I thought it was my 2nd so I hired a liar(lawyer) and atleast he got one of my tickets thrown out and I have to pay $430 and 1yr probation and 30 day driving suspended. Enough about my problems cause they are temporary and thank God I have pot to help me relieve my stress from the drama in my life. Here are those pics peeps.:greenthumb:

Here are some more pics and you can see my new plants that have already sprouted. I love this site and forum cause if you ask there are plenty of smart and nice people to help you through your problems. To all you newbies, read read read and you will learn from trial and error and my lessons I learned are these:

Dont over care for the plants they are easy to grow given the proper environment.

Dont over fertilize them, this is important. During Veg. stage I didnt add any nutrients for the whole month except 2 drops of SuperThrive per gallon every 3rd watering and thats all for veg. 1 week before flowering just use water so when you switch to bloom nutes you wont have problems.

This is important. Your soil needs to be within the pH range of 5.5-7.0. I am using Shultz Moistner PLUS soil and I mix Perlite(1/3 perlite,2/3 soil) and your pH will be at a pH range of 6.5 I believe.

The pH of your water needs to be withing the same range of your soil, but I make sure my water pH is a little higher than my soil. If your adding nutes, check the pH after you mix your nutes in the water.

I am having awesome results with B.C. Hydroponic starter kit from www.Ecogrow.com for $19 shipped and start your nutes at 50% strength and increase to 100% within 2-3 weeks. Make sure you water with nutes, then water twice then repeat.

If you are using HPS lamps then I would advise on making a cooltube so you can have your plants as close to the light as possible. I cant remember anything else cause I am feeling fuked up from some Vicodens so I am sure I'll remember later.

This is my first comment to your grow. Sorry about that. Things look like they have gone really well for you. Congrats, man! I will mos' def' look into Papaya for a future grow. I'm a new grower too and have found this site to be an enormous help. Again, way too go man. You're girls are beautiful. Hey Weed4Life, that up there is my grow motto. Sometimes, I never even look at the plants LOL, I just throw water in the soil and close the cab door for 2 days and then water again every 2 days :D . Thats why sometimes, I see people having big problems with there plants and I try to tell them not to try so hard. Just stop feeeding ferts in VeG and let the plant get a good root system. In the flowering, the plant will eatt up almost everything you give it (don't over fert though). You are going to have a lot of Ganja on your hands after the harvest/dry/cure. Are you going to smoke all of that? If you are, I hope you have a bong so that you may have a nice cleaner smoking journy :bonghit: . I got my Papaya babies growing now @ day 11 of VeG for my little SCROG set-up. I'm pleased with how it's started off, it's going to be a good grow :D . Keep Toking man...

Very, very, very good advice. Learned this one the hard way, myself. If you have good soil, no nutes needed in veg.

Well buying bud up here is expensive. $40 a quarter.
:chainsaw: I have some growers bad news. I just had to kill my new sprouts cause these last ones smelled way too much for me to have them grow in the same grow box and my wife was bitchy cause she doesnt want us to go to jail. Out here they dont like weed or drugs and they give alot of jail time for it, plus I dont need to get in trouble if I am already on probation so I am thinking smarter here for once, but not too fret I will grow again in about 3 months but I will build a sealed grow box and plenty of room to get fatter buds. I will be around to check out everyones grows and I'll have time to improve my next grows.

Just read your entire thread, wow great stuff, i was particularly interested in your thread because you grew bubbelicious :rasta: , i just started my garden and i hav 10 healthy bubbelicious seedlings :rastasmoke: i ordered them from a dutch seed bank, can you tell me about the smell and the high? the seedbank boasted a sweet smell truly resembling a typical bubblegum, is this true? they also boasted the euphoric high:stoned: , is true aswell???

Where did this place go for awhile? Well I am on informal probation where I dont report because it was for a DUI and I just have to pay off the ticket.
Dude, the Bubblicious smelled really good when growing but I messed up my drying stage and over dried them (fan) so I had to rehydrate with lettuce. I can tell you this: the Papaya is really smelly and is better. I really couldnt tell them apart from each other when they mixed towards the last few 1/8ths bags(3.5g).
I am not moving so I am gonna try a new method out in a few weeks. Have any of you heard of growing your plant on 12/12 from the beginning? They say it is alittle smaller yielding, but the plants grows and then blooms when ready. I am trying that. I dont have much room so it will work better for my shit. Getting drunk and stupid so stay HigH everyone!
BlaqLight- I believe I got about 89grams give or take.

:baggy: Boy did I underestimate the potency of these plants. Last night I put my green ladies to the choppin' block and I opened my window so the smell can go out the back of the building and ran a fan in the room. Well, I went out to smoke a ciggerette and all throughout my building you can smell the pot and people came over and said " Do you get high off being in your house?" So I became alittle paranoid so I started lighting inscents and going through my building with and I even burned one when I went to bed to cleanse the air.lol. Things went well, except 1 of the trimmers(helper) cut some of the bud off one of the main colas.:mad: Well here are just a few harvest pics with more to come. Here is which pics are what:
