Here is an LST that Iā??ve been working on for some time.
I began tying the plant when it was quite small and trained out two side shoots in one direction.

Then I topped the plant 10 days ago and have been training everything else since then.

Iā??ve counted at least 30 growth tips but the majority of them are quite small around 1 inch long.

The plant stands 9.5 inches above the pot in these pictures so you have an idea of size.
It is a clone, of champagne, and rooted late august and has been vegging since then (stunted it by putting it in chicken manure, I know I know bad idea)

Iā??m wondering as to the result flower with such small growth tips would bring. I obviously want some nice colas. Would waiting a week or two greatly increase yield (more than any other week of vegging).
It shares a 400W MH with 8 other much smaller plants.

Pics 1 and 2 are from the day I tied it
Pic 3 gives a look some of the bends
Pic 4 shows all the little growth tips Iā??m talking about
Pic 5 just a overall pic of the plant

thanks

I would give it another week to recover from the training and topping and flip it into flower, the sights will fill up a little more in the first week or two of 12-12 IMO.

ya the plant grows a bunch. ive read that it doubles or triples in height.

from your experience is that doubling of each growth tip. so mine are around 1 inch, would they grow to two inches. or would they 9 inches and double the height of the plant?

the plant was about 14 inches tall b4 bending

The growth tips can triple depending on the strain. Just remember to stop training after the first 2 weeks of 12-12, unless you don't have the room, if it's tied down to 9 right now, it could get to about 15 or 16 in after the strech, but like I said, this also depends on the strain.

Then I would defanetly un tie after the first 2 weeks into flower and try to keep that 400w within 12 inches and closer if possible.
