1. Recipes always are using 1 1b of butter for 1 ounce of bud. Unfortunately all I have is a quarter, so should I just use 4 ounces of butter? Will this produce enough to make bud brownies? It just seems the amount of bud is used so quickly and doesn't last too long.

2. When the butter and bud are on low cooking in the water, is 2-3 hours suffice instead of the long hours I've seen in other recipes?

Thanks

I've actually also, in another recipe, seen the grinded bud put on a tin foil sheet and baked in the oven for 10ish minutes at 325 degrees, and then stirred into whatever is boiling. Is this a possible quicker alternative?

try a half batch (1/2 butter . 1cup of water) or a different method. The 22-24 hour method posted in the sticky is a Cannabis Club Certified recipe.
