can clones be taken from a plant that is fixing to be harvested? if so , which parts should i clone?
my stems are all now over a ft long, and each one of them has smalls buds growing on them. the only part of the plant w/o any bud are the fan leaf's, but i do not believe that can be cloned ??
anyways, please let me know..
thanks!

I dont think it's a good idea. But it's just speculation. I know some people have flowered from early flowering. But after harvest hmmm...
wouldn't it be hard as all the growth tips are now budds so you'd be cloning a bud. interesting.
you can clone from the fan leafs but i dont know the success rate. but theoreticaly you can clone from any tissue sample. some are just harder than others. I was thinking about trying to clone a fan leaf.

Theoretically you could clone from any part of the plant, but unless you had a controlled lad with advanced equipment and tried to clone from a fan leaf, you would just get a fan leaf.
You can take a clone from the plant, but it will have a small chance of rooting and may take up to 1 or more months to re root and take allot of TLC. If you do, try to cut a point that has very small buds if any and you will improve your chances of success.

If you have a plant that you want to take clones from, your best bet os to harvest but leave the lower branches ON the plant.
Then put her back in veg and give her a little superthrive.
Go on a dilute veg nutes regimen.
In 3 weeks you should see fresh growth.
When it is big enough to clone, cut back on N for a week or so before.
Much better chance to get healthy clones from a vegging female.
