Yes I do get a american nickel in my change, its bound to happen! its not like when you come to canada and tell the bank to exchange your dimes and nickels, and qaurters too..."hey you owe me a few pennies on that Nickel!" LOL

i remember being very stoned and looking at my change i got from some munchies and thinking "holy fuck they changed the quarter and put a bird on it" 10 seconds later i realized it was an american quarter and i felt pretty stupid. so yes we do find american coins

Hardly ever. Like I said, maybe 3 or 4 times in my whole life. Of Course, this is just me.


Now what I DO wonder is, if you live closer to the canadian border, do you get MORE Canadian coins back in change at places in America?

Quite often. If I notice it right away, I have the cashier change it out. I have enough Canadian coins.

I took an american nickle and placed it beside a canadian nickle. On my dresser. The next day the canadian nickle was on the ground and the american nickle was still on the dresser

...that nickle is now my lucky nickle...mhmm got to love that survival instinct

Yes..often enough. I try to exchange them for American coins because some vending machines won't accept Canadian coins.

ok sry kinda off topic but i wanna make hash brownies in my dad's kitchen tomorrow night while he's out (i'm in high school) but i heard that the smell lasts for 2 weeks throughout the house, no matter what you do to get it out. Is that true? Can i make them without my house smelling like my bong?

No, but then again i live in missouri which is about 800+ miles from the canadian border. Although i have been to canada before and i remember going to mcdonalds and paying with american money:p
