white paint

i wanted to either put up mylar in my growbox or white paint, but unfortuanally my budget can't really afford mylar so i 'm stuck with white paint here at my house, and i know i need to use flat paint, but would eggshell work as well? just wanted to know before i paint it! please help me i gotta get this box on the go many thanks peace

from memory mylar is 98% reflective and flat white 90%. I'm sure eggshell will be fine as long as its 'brilliant white' - you may lose a couple of % though.

I too am going to use white painted walls and floor for my grow, cheap and simple.

you know those emergency blankets those are made of mylar and they are like 2-3 bucks proly find em at walmart

Mylars not THAT expensive depending where you get it. Try and get a material of some kind because paint is a waste of time.

Nice plant's bro. And I've also been thinking about using White paint. If I don't use a cabinet I'm using white paint. I might just even build a cabinet with the white plastic used and just not use Mylar.
