Headshops? There around and they always have grinders. Personally I dont like grinders becasue I think it makes the bud burn really fast.

First, Walmart has these little plastic "Garlic mincers" for about $10. They were in this month's ads that I got just yesterday. Second way- let your bud dry out, then grab the big wire mesh strainer from your kitchen. Get a large bowl and place the strainer in it. Put the dry bud in the strainer and rub. Finely flaked bud will fall into the bowl. Any stems or seeds will be left in the strainer. I've used my strainers to quickly clean up dry pot since the 70s! :stoned:

only use grinders for buds bigger than a 50p coin, not smaller. other wise its a waste of trichomes (to me) and if its smaller just cut it with scissors

I bought a cofee grinder from wall mart for 15 that works real well. I grind about a quarter into almost dust and seperate a good bit of kief that i press into hash by putting it into a pice of plastic bag to hold all of it. Then i form it into a kief ball inside the pice of plastic. Then i stretch rubber bands as tightly as i can around it. After you get maby 3 rubber bands tightly around it i open it up and adjust the ball which is firm but will crumble. I adjust the plastic to firmly fit the hash ball and then repeat the tight stretching of rubber bands around the ball. I make it as tight as i can and bounce it and play around with it for about 18 hours(but it doubt it takes that long) then i open it up and its a hard rock. It looks the same color as the kief started but you can make it a dark green but black looking color by adding slight moisture before you apply the rubber bands and it will also occur if you find a way to heat it inside the rubber band ball. I have found that steaming it(because i work at a place that uses steamers) heat from being in your pocket or from a heat source like a car air conditioning on heat or somthing simmilar will also give it that dark color rock most simmilar to black lava stone. The rest of the bud i smoke in my one hit.

I found a cheap grinder with a kief chamber for $15. It is metal and magnetic. Works well for me.

Where do you live?... I may know of headshops near by.

What is this Kief? Do ya smoke it? Whats the deal? Any feedback would be great. I'm looking at grinders now to use with the Vapezilla I just got

kief is the crystals that are on the bud.. hell ya you smoke it.. i usually put mine on top of a bowl... i personally like using a grinder it just makes it easy..
