This isnt good. You skip once, it'll only get easier and eaiser to skip.
I should take my own advice..

i used to skip football all the time my sophomore year, coincidentally the last year i went out. the only thing i would be worried about is the coach's wrath. my coach always made me feel guilty and say things like i could be really good because of my size but have a poor work ethic and stuff but i just hated football. the only reason i played is because my mom made me in order to use my school permit. but yeah i'd just get ready for what the coach is going to say especially if he's a hard ass. good luck, football sucks.

damn dude, where i come from, there is no option, you go to practice, even if you dont go to school, we actually used to skip school and go to practice, and we would worry that the coach would find out we skipped school. if he did it was called "extra curricular running" not fun at all

Lazy is a state of mind, its about peeling yourself from the couch.

I have a starting line position so I wouldn't dream of skipping a practice or id lose it in a heartbeat. We only have two weeks left in our season too so I say just suck it up. I find if you miss one practice it makes you so relaxed that its hard to get going again in later practices
