can anyone tell me where this faker made a BIG FUCKING HUGH mistake in this cannabis cureing guide?
its sooo dumb its insanly funny to think someone somewhere is following this?!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
First, pull the plant up roots and all and hang it upside down for 24 hours. Then put each plant in a paper grocery bag with the top open for 3 or 4 days or until the leaves feel dry to the touch. Now strip the leaves off the stem and put them in a glass jar with a lid. Don't pack the leaves in tightly, you want air to reach all the leaves. The main danger in the curing process is mold. If the leaves are too damp when you put them into the jar, they will mold and since the mold will destroy the resins, mold will ruin your marijuana. You should check the jars every day by smelling them and if you smell an acrid aroma, take the weed out of the jar and spread it out on newspaper so that it can dry quickly. Another method is to uproot the plants and hang them upside down. You get some burlap bags damp and slip them up over the plants. Keep the bags damp and leave them in the sun for at least a week. Now put the plants in a paper bag for a few days until the weed is dry enough to smoke. Like many fine things in life, marijuana mellows out with age. The aging process tends to remove the chlorophyll taste.

I'm guessing the burlap sack method? Taking fresh, wet buds, and wrapping them in wet bags to sit in the sun? That will destroy the THC in no time.

That's just an old guide man..
im not a grower, but im guessing "Don't pack the leaves in tightly, you want air to reach all the leaves." is what your talking about. letting air in kinda defeats purpose of an air-tight container right?

Or this? Curing actually improves the taste of potency slightly, so saying it "mellows" out, does that mean it loses it's potency....now I'm just confused. ::p

Oh I see. That's the other one I was thinking. :p
But yeah, reading it again he doesn't mention the buds once, just the leaves. :p Funny.

I'm telling you.. It's an old guide..
Replace leaves with buds, and you have an OK guide..
" Like many fine things in life, marijuana mellows out with age. The aging process tends to remove the chlorophyll taste. "
That's what the curing is all about.. I've had cannabis in a jar for 3 months, and it got smoother by the day.. Better smoke each time...:)

Edit: One day, I pulled over on the side of the freeway on one of those scenic lookouts...saw a marijuana plant! Was so excited. I ripped it out of the ground, drove to the nearest convenient store, bought some food, put it in the microwave with the LEAVES to dry, and then proceeded to smoke them...so naive...must've been 10 years ago...

The only problem with pulling the plant up by the roots is you have all that dirt and rootball to deal with.. and the last thing you want is soil getting all over your nice sticky buds that you've just spent months growing...
Keep the dirt away from the buds..
Bob.
