And here I am, sitting over in America, 20 years old, and sober as a judge. Why the hell am I not in England yet? I have some real issues with America's age requirements. I can legally drive a motor vehicle at 16, but can't buy TOBACCO, PORN, or LOTTERY until I'm 18. And as icing on the cake, I can't buy booze until 21. Seriously, what's wrong with that picture?

Yeah, the legal drinking age rules over here are absurd, aren't they, Plant? When I was growing up, drinking age was 18 in Texas for a time, and then they extended the age again to 21 when I was 19. So I drank legally for a little more than a year and then had to wait another year to turn 21. Strange.

Except that I didn't wait, of course. No one did. Which was anohter part of the absurdity.

happy b-day, and to the guy who didnt rember how he got home on his coming of age birth-day... i dont rember how i got home on my 16th party... or who i was with... or who i selpt with... i just rember alot of ppls... alot of beer... alot of wiskey, and alot of moon shine... and 3 or 4 calls to 911 2 guys got alcohal posining... and another 1 or 2 crashed there dirt bikes...

oh not big boys jail :( lol, well now that im 18 in the UK, its legal for me to smoke weed in a way, If im indoors i can legally smoke weed, if im outdoors its ok as long as your not around a place with other people or near a park where kids are but it would be ok to be in a field or something where theres no people and all the cops are allowed to do is take my weed off me which is better than going to prison lol :D

Yeah, I felt that same way too, plus I drank, so strip clubs and such were a bonus. :D

Remeber what comes with moving out though, working 40hrs a week 5 days a week to pay the bills. ;)

Look at it this way though, as long as you find something that you enjoy doing, it won't even feel like work with a paycheque every 2 weeks, but the freedom levels it allllll out. ;)

Just stay in school and graduate and you'll be good bro. :thumbsup:

If you're 17 or under, you'll be arrested and taken to a police station for a formal warning (your parent or guardian will be asked to attend). If it's not your first offence you may earn a drugs conviction in court.

If you are over 18, the police will confiscate your drugs and will most likely give you a warning - but they still have the power to arrest you if you are:
(a) a repeat offender
(b) smoking in public
(c) a threat to public order
(d) have cannabis near any premises used by children.

The worst thing that could happen is they will take the weed off me i have never been arrested for possession before, and if im smoking indoors that not in the public or a threat to it or near any children lol...

its very unlikly unless its posession with intent to supply, you can just say its personal smoke, i know someone who had a bar of hash - he was over 18 and they didnt even take it off him because it was personal smoke lol

lol i didnt mean possiesion of weed...i just meant in general :D kids can pretty much get away with murder if they play their cards right :p

I find that hard to believe as anything above 3 ounces is considered a supply by the Brit Police force.
