Hey, I live in the US, in the state of Washington (WA) and I want advice for what seeds to grow outdoors. I am not new to the growing game, I have grown indoors plenty, but never actually outdoors. I tried outdoors but all 3 of the plants died! In Washington, it is really rainy and cold, all of the time except for summer, so I want to know somw good seeds to choose from. Thank you anybody who replies to this. Happy growing-

I'm in the Pacific NorthWET, too. I can't recommend a specific strain but your chances of success are much better if you get plants started indoors early then move them outdoors after the weather warms up.

Well, mine sure has heck didn't ! You just have to harden them off, which means slowly getting them accustomed to the harsher conditions outdoors. You put them out for an hour or so the first day, then a little longer the next day, and do this over a week or two to harden them off well before moving them out permanently.

Hey guerrillagrowerz, it's funny that your username suggests you're an outdoor grower yourself... rofl...

Put them out in a cold frame for a week or so, like tomatoes.

For the PNWet, look for a mold-resistant strain. Bogglegum is one that comes to mind... there's some F2s for sale on seedbay right now; fantastic deal IMO!!!

And be totally sure that you have a spot where the soil is light and well-drained to avoid yucky root rot.
