View Full Version : Trouble inhaling?

I was smoking the other night and the bowl was about cashed, so I just took a quick hit, barely held it, and blew out to see if I even got anything. I noticed when I did that I never really inhaled the smoke I just held in my throat for a few seconds and blew out. I'm wondering if this is the main problem with newbies inhaling problems. I started smoking cigs before pot, but I was smoking for about a month before I realized I wasn't inhaling correctly. Than when I finally did I coughed up a lung. But that was to long ago to remember what mistake I was making.

Anyway, it just seemed possible that a lot of the problems people have when they say they inhaled correctly and still didn't get high, that they are just not fully inhaling and stoping the smoke when it is still in their wind pipe. I wish I was sober right now so I would know for sure if it is a logical thought.

That's exactly the problem.

thats exactly what noobs do, Except they all insist there inhaling properly. No one can smoke 4-5 times inhaling properly and not get high its impossible. why did you smoke for a month without inhaling?

I thought I was, but than I realised I got tense every time I went to inhale. It was almost like breaking my smoke cherry. I forced it down one time and after that there was never anymore trouble. Inhaling correctly kind of became natural. But at first it was like my lungs were telling me "you inhale that, we quit working, choose well." Dont know, there was just always something holding me back from fully inhaling it.
