brain dmg, brain cells

i noe for a fact i already asked this question, i dont remember and i cant find thread.
does weed cause permy brain dmg or destruction of brain cells, cuz im 14 and dont wanna be my brother (long story short, dead end job, brain dead) so yah, i consider myself fairly intelligent, so anyone have scientific facts it causes brain dmg or destrucion of brain cells?, im aware if u smoke up it could make u a skitz or something, but ive smoked long enuff im not to worried about that,

Well to me weed made me a smarter person but I'm aware of people who've gotten stupid because of it. I had this theory that the long-term effects that weed has on your brain depend on what age you start smoking at. I only started when I was 16, so it didn't fuck me up, but I think that if people start smoking regularely at 12 or 13 (and I know people), then the effects could be different.

Man it all depends on the person, I smoke and mybros smoke and they have their own company and I am going to go to Law School So.......just learn how to control it, smoke at the end of the day when you have all your shit done, Good Luck, went from a 2.8 gpa in high school to a 3.8 gpa in college

i'm nearly 20 now and i've been smoking since 13. i haven't noticed anything considerbly worse...and i'm pretty inteligent, a and b student. altho i have nothing to show for it, cuz my life got real messed up a few years ago, but if i can get the money i can go to night school then college and i'll pass so says all my teachers lol

Weed causes brain cells to go dormant, not actually kills them. The logic to this is when you quit smoking weed your mind "clears up" as in those brain cells are becoming active again.

Marijuana smoking is a knowledge trade. Yes short term memory may be a byproduct of smoking, but a better understanding of the world and urself is also a byproduct. also a lot of dumb smokers are stupid because they allow the silly stoner stereotype to be their image. That is how the media brainwashes people, through sterotypes. Yes I act silly, but if u seem smart to urself then it doesn't matter if u are stupid. Only live for the world that u are in, not hte one that others are in.

yeah some of my friends think when you get high you have to act dumb and stupid and it really gets annoying to others like me but i agree what you said is true sugar
