Will butter go bad?

My cannabutter is only 2 weeks old but I read at 1 week it will go bad if you don't freeze it? Is this true? I want to have pancakes but want my butter to be effective and useful,all that stuff or make some new.

I MAKE 4 LBS OF CANNABUTTER AT A TIME. IT HAS SAT IN THE FRIDGE FOR OVER 1 1/2 MONTHS AND WAS STILL GOOD.

JUST MAKE SURE YOU STRAIN AND CLEAN THE BUTTER WHEN YOU MAKE IT REAL GOOD.

i've heard it can last up to either 3 or 6 months, can't remember which...
