Hello everyone, how are you doing today?

I have a question some of you with the experiance might be able to answer, when enducing Low Stress Training on your MJ plant by using the Screen Of Green Method along with Super Cropping (cutting the central stem above the nodes), does this make the Vegitative perioud of growth slow down because of all the
un-natural modifications to the plant? If the answer is Yes, how much does it slow down the growth as apposed to growing without LST?

Supercropping slows down growth, LST doesn't. How much it slows down growth is pretty much impossible to answer, as there are too many variables (soil/hydro, age of plants, lighting, strain, temps, humidity, etc). Figure a week or two of stunted growth though from a round of supercropping/topping/FIM/pruning -- that's probably in the ballpark. The training under the screen doesn't slow down anything, it just redirects vertical growth into horizontal growth. Hell, it probably speeds up growth, if anything, by optimizing your light usage.

What's always puzzled me about LST is the fact that constant bending of the planet does stunt it somewhat, once you tie down a stem it will require energy to turn back up. Its why scroging very late is a bad idea.
