Ok, so my understanding is that there is at least one very large, and very old, secret society which is manipulating our government and running the world from behind the scenes. Actually there are three: Illuminati, freemasons, and skull & bones. Did I miss any?
Here's my question to you:
Do you really think that many people can keep that many secrets for that many years? Even the mob has it's share of rats. I find it hard to believe that not one single person in the entire history of these secret societies has ever become disgruntled, or careless, or maybe even guilty enough to spill the beans.
There's no organization in the world that has a 100% loyalty rate among 100% of its members 100% of the time. Someone, at sometime, for some reason, is going to tell their secret. That's just the nature of human interrelations.

so if youre wondering why no one gives a shit to comment on this..... ill explain
because you already approached the comment by calling us "nuts" to strat off with
and no matter what i would say to you, you wouldnt believe it....
you would come back with some debating comment anyways
why dont you just go and stick your head in the books (like i did) and find out for yourself
read the teachings of
mao tse tung
adolph hitler
napolean
juleas ceaser
and see how they conqoured, then compare that to what our government has done in the past 35 years (incl. peral harbor, 9/11, northbridge etc.)
then see how men who spoke of the government and their contributions of capitalism and violence got them killed/murdered
hunter S thompson
fred hampton
huey p. newton
and as far as this statement below
"There's no organization in the world that has a 100% loyalty rate among 100% of its members 100% of the time. Someone, at sometime, for some reason, is going to tell their secret. That's just the nature of human interrelations."
yes, and the fact that you know their names proves you right.... but what do you know about them??????huh
see thats the secret you dont know
so go on and study up on your history and when you want a real debate, post back

The very fact that we know what those people did illustrates my point that you can't keep something like that a secret. If their "secrets" really were secret, then you wouldn't have read about them in any books.

Simple I would say it's a case of them not being believed or thought of as nutters, (sound familiar ), the ignorant remain ignorant because they believe all they are told to.

Name someone who has come forward and actually claimed to be a current or former member of the illuminati. There isn't one. There are only people who claim there is an illuminati, not that they have any insider information about it.
I don't believe everything I'm told. I believe what can be proven, and I merely wonder about that which cannot be proven. A conspiracy theorists believes his theories cannot be wrong, even in the absence of proof. That's the difference between us.
All science is is theories. The theory of relativity, the theory of evolution, the theory of gravity, etc. While we observe these things we do not have definite proof. We know that gravity exists, but most scientists really dont understand how it works. Its kind of like that with conspiracy theorists. We know that there are secret societies, we just don't know exactly how they carry out everything.
If that made any sense lol. Which it probably didnt haha.

Free Masons arent a secret society, there are chapters of them EVERYWHERE. even in Washington DC. Just look at the Great Seal of the US, symbols everywhere, because some of our Founding Fathers..and Ex Presidents were Free Masons..
Illuminati...thats just a conspiracy nut wet dream, to have an all powerful secret world order. Id doubt if they still exist.

I wonder if skull and bones is real, or if both the major party cantidates last election were really members. Funny, I can't remember either saying they weren't. Conspiracies are real, but they aren't secret. They're out in plain site. Donate millions to the bush campaign, you get to write energy policy. Invest millions in oil companies and military contactors and start a war in an oilfield.

Actually its realy easy to keep shit secret. Just remember the almighty dollar and then remember that theres no money for the major broadcast networks in telling the truth.
And also WHO THE FUCK GOES COUNTRY IT JUST DOESN'T WORK LIKE THAT.

"Loose Screws' would be a more appropriate title. As they say, everyone is welcome to their own opinion but not their own facts.

It does work like that, if you pack up your things and move to the country.
"Going country" is not about being like YOU. It's about living in the country, and still being me.

All the people who are so certain your info isn't being manipulated are only fooling themselves your goverment will only tell you what they want you to know. Ridicule and accusations of insanity have been used to undermine anything said that might be taken seriously and the ostriches among us are more than happy to bury there heads in the sand.
Read Orwells 1984 and see how the ministry for misinformation in your power base works, a comment comes to mind that was made by a brit minister on 9/11
It is a good day to bury bad news.

Well, FYI, some have spoken up but they are quickly discredited, or worse. People who discover the truth quickly find themselves "committing suicide". Someone mentioned Hunter S. Thompson earlier in the thread. It is interesting that he was getting ready to break a story about the child prostitution ring that was catering to high level gov't officials. It is too long a story to go into here, but google Jeff Gannon to read about this extraordinary scandal.

Funny how not much of that story got out to the media. Hmm, I wonder if there is a conspiracy to control the media? Just look to see who owns all the major media outlets to find your answer.
Also the guy who wrote the expose on CIA drug running in 1980s LA (google: The Dark Alliance), Gary Webb, ends up committing suicide with, get this, TWO gunshots to the head.

There is always at least a shred of truth behind rumours. They havn't necessarily been proved but such a widely known phenoma couldn't have started as hearsay or general porky pies. It's a pretty farfetched notion, to me it brings forth images of evil monks doing rituals, but with all the shit humans are capable of when they come together, I definitely wouldn't say such a thing would be impossible.
