Ok, this is my first grow. I should have pictures within a few days.
Currently, I have 2 plants, they are only a week old. For each plant, I have 1 25 watt CFL (66.2 lm/w) hanging about an inch or so over it. I know this is not enough light, so I am looking into what to buy. I have found some fluor tubes. One is 55watts and 6500K and the other is 38 watts and 6500K. Is there a difference between these two?
If i was going to get tubes, how many would work for 2 plants?
Also, Could I also just buy a 100watt CFL for each plant?
Thanks.

Here is my idea for a set up. 4-55 watt fluorescent tubes. The only ballasts I can find for the 55 are ones that have a hookup in the middle, in which 2 55's can be inserted.
In addition to the 2 ballasts, 4 55-watts, i could hang 2-25w cfl over each plant.
So, each plant would be getting 160 watts each. Is that enough?

Ok, the 55 watt tubes are Compact lamps/tubes. Does that make a difference?

if i had enought room for tubes id buy a nice high output T5 system....stick with the CFLs lots of light and no heat, just buy more of them, and buy some warm/soft white for flowering
