but yeah i got it, i'm feeling pretty good, i tried rice in my bong instead of water, all the steam from cooking it and putting it in opened up my lungs too... :upsidedow :stoned: look at me mommy! no pain!

As for the rice in your bong, you didn't put cooked rice in there, did you? Use dry, uncooked rice, and cook it after if that's your thing. :p

Rice absorbs heat, so when you put it in your bong, it absorbs the heat from the hit above. It doesn't make the smoke cool, it just makes the hit much smoother.

There was a thread discussing it, which you guys must of missed.

Rice is supposed to "clean" it I guess and allow for a smoother hit.

i actually like rice over ice now, it's actually so smooth i have to look down the shaft to make sure there's even smoke there lol, i see the bud burning, but i honestly don't feel anything.
