I'm an experienced stoner and searched the forums like hell for answers, but couldn't find any. Here's the situation first--laugh, it's kind of funny (in a slobbish way), but i need some input:

I toked in a small room with no ventilation later at night with a bunch of friends for a few hours, got the whole next day off, then the NEXT morning after I worked--leaving about 26 hours between the last toke and the first work hour. However, I'm not usually a slob, and so I did not bother to shower the next day, and I didn't even change my clothes until later.

Well, I fell asleep until way too late, and had to rush to work without a shower or deodorant.

I ended up smelling like BO like nobody's business, and so i got called up to the manager's office for it. I'm very paranoid whether he smelt weed on me as well, though he didn't mention it. He just said give myself more time in the morning and wear an undershirt more often (i usually do, not that day). I really have no idea, though. The BO was pretty bad, so that just may have been it.

So my question is this: How long will weed stay on you after a pretty big hotbox (clambake) session? Will it have gone after more than 24 hours and a fresh change of clothes?

I'm worried about a drug test because of this, though they have the oral ones and I haven't smoked for a few days. Yet, when i was hired these didnt work and they sent me out for a pee sample instead.

I'm a pretty clean guy (it's one of the reasons i don't know the answer to this already) and so this was one of the single most embarrassing experiences I've ever had...and now I'm paranoid about testing and suspicions in general. If you think this is TOO paranoid, at least give me peace of mind.

Thanks.

Ha ha! You're just being paranoid friend.

Having bad BO is actually not allowed in a workplace. It is a disruptive smell for the other workers, and if you work with public, then it is really frowned upon. Next time, even if you didn't shower, take 5 seconds before you leave to rub some pit stick on man. I've worked around people who never showered or wore deoderant and i can tell, I wanted to grab them and toss them into a shower. It's gross! Come on, wear pit stick. :p

As for the smell on clothes, if you couldn't smell the reefer, then no one else really can. Besides, the BO was probably covering up the smell. It is a strong, pungent stench, and I have smelled smelly bastards coming from 20ft away, so I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Oh I'm quite aware about the rules about BO, it's fucking disgusting. I was horrified! Like I said, i'm a pretty clean person, and I shower and use deoderant every day, just not that one.

Anyhow, this should be a warning for any of our more sloppy friends on this board...CLEANSE yourselves!...then do it some more.

Yeah real paranoid. For all he knows you smoke cigarettes, so who cares?

LOL that must have been one akward little meeting there for both you and your manager.
