i want to start one of dem 'grow boxes'

ok, i just want to know if this would be possible, or even probable, to start a small grow in my house. Here's the info.

measurements: width: 2ft ; length: 1,5ft ; hight; 1ft

*note: i have to have little to no scent of weed. less noise is a plus too.

i don't want much, one plant would be fine. if someone could lay me out a simple design or direct me to one that would rock. i'd also like to know about prices to get it goin for cheap.

also, this might be a n00b question, but i am one to growing.

-can i keep my plant growing for ever, or are they like people and have a limited life span?

i think u need a space bigger than that 1ft tall doesnt seem enough :) if u mangage to get a bigger space ..get some CFL (compact fluorescent lights) are cheap and run cool. Buy a few and then grab some of the mini, clip on ballasts and germinate some seeds ..one or two computer fans drawing in fresh air and one or two letting out air plop them in some soil and u shud be off to basic growing :) ive attached a pic i found on the forums for u ... hope ive helped in some way :)

just noticed its a hydro diagram but u get the drift :) and your question "can i keep my plant growing for ever, or are they like people and have a limited life span?" unless u take clones from that plant and keep it on a 18/6 cycle when u flower the plant will expire :)

.

Of course, it's called LST, low stress training, though of course, the fruit of the potato is grown underground... Even with that 12" is stretching it. I'd say a meter is the minimum if it's going to be at all worth your while.

http://www.growfaq.net/index.php?

Is also a great site

Read up on growing as much as you can, it helps if you understand everything you need to do when you grow before growing. Ive been reading about growing pot for 2 weeks now and i think im finally ready to began my first grow.

Definitely check out those links. The first one is where we got most of the info for our hypothetical grow.

Basically, to keep your plant alive for several years, you will have to set up a 'perpetual' grow. This means having a "mother plant," off of which you can take cuttings. You root these cuttings (clones) and grow (veg) them for a few weeks, then move them into your "flowering box."

Yes, this means that you will have to have at least 2 separate locations, if not 3 for a perpetual harvest cycle (bud every 1-2 months).

Do a little more research:

GOOD LUCK!
