I used to not be able to stand all of the classic shit, but now i'm in love with it.
The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Cream, Frank Zappa & The Mothers of Invention, Grateful Dead, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix.
I'm turning into a fucking beetnik, and I'm gonna be Shaggy Rogers from Scooby Doo for Haloween.
More like, Marijuana changed my life.

Yeah I was always into heavier shit like grindcore, I still like it but this is better. I always have hated metal though.

4 years ago i was a tool. i just listened to tool (and a bunch of metal bands). the only classic rock i listened to was pink floyd and just a song or two. now i find my self deeply appreciating music from a broad variety of genres. its really great. i feel fufilled :)

Classic rock is some of the best shit out there. You'll never find another band like Floyd, Zeppelin, Doors.. and the ones you said. I don't think there will ever be another era like it.. wish I was around back then. :)

Im really high. sky high. But onto the topic. Not only did marijuana change my musical taste my friend... but it also changed my musical CREATION. thats right... im a guitar player and i love writing music. the notes i let out of my soul went from palm muted metal riffs (before i smoked weed) to now (having been a smoker for a year) stirring blues and jazz solos.

My musical taste has stayed roughly the same minus the metal. But now im in love with the blues. As hendrix once said, the blues is easy to play but hard to feel. I FEEL the blues when im high. and i play the blues when im high. aint no feeling like it in the world. Wouldn't give my guitar up for a million bucks, but maybe im just high. Actually i could get alot of weed with a million bucks so id take the million, buy a new version of my same guitar, and buy a fat $999,999,000 sack of weed. then play the blues high for the rest of my life baby :rasta:

i was around back then, and lucky for me i am still here, and what i learned over the years is that there is no such thing as "bad music"
That being said, checkout the independent music scene. The music, the lyrics, the instrumentals, from people you probably have never heard of will absolutely blow your mind. Checkout www.kpig.com and listen for a while.
I have a couple of my songs that are even played on it:D

I haven't really seen that marijuana has changed what music I do like, it's just made the music I already liked even more likeable.

one of the great joys of my life is my autographed Eric Clapton Stratocaster.
I dont play it much because i am in love with my 33 Martin, and my Santa Cruz.
To replace my Martin would cost me $80,000;)

cannabis does seem to have the ability to open ones eyes/mind wider then they were opened before. I whole heartedly agree with you.;)
