Hey everyone. Well, tonight is one of those nights no one should have to endure, but it just made me open my eyes a bit more to the omnipotent uses for medicinal marijuana.

Hospitals are pumping patients with uncountable amounts of chemicals to numb the pain, which all have their negative effects and hit and miss chances of working.

Tonight, i just got home from visiting my dad in a hospital. he just recieved a knee replacement on his left knee which has been in excruciating pain for several years. The surjery didnt turn out as planned, as the anesthesiologists (sp) messed up on several accounts, and now, hours after the sujery, my dad screams and grimmaces at the pain and cramps hes now enduring due to the chemicals not killing the pain.

As I was watching, i wanted to bad to just tell the nurse to leave for a minute, and convince my dad to quick smoke or something. obviously probably not the best idea, but just something i thought would help immensly.

It's so mind-boggling how some states still havent issued medicinal marijuana for patients. marijuana would help 10 fold instead of having all the issues, tubes, tears, and pain. I couldnt help but just get furious at the hospital for messing up, the doctors numbed the wrong side of his body, gave him unneccessary and unsafe numbing combinations. The whole time i just wanted to be like. DAMMIT SOMEONE GET HIM A REAL PROFESSIONAL, and a joint. my dad is quite against weed, but i cant help thinking on how much more it'd be in his favor to have some.

thanks for listening

I'm sorry your dad is in so much pain. Surgery is tough. I've been thru many. I'm wondering how the anesthesia messed up your dad and caused him more pain? Can you fill me in on that?

Whenever i go in, I use a surgical pen and mark my body where they are supposed to operate. I'll even draw a big circle and write NOT HERE>>>>THERE! I know hospitals make mistakes and so far, I've been lucky in surgery it's the nurses afterwards that have no time to properly attend to a patient. But then again when I get up and go looking, they're all congreated around the station yakking. Then they get an attitude if ya bug em. Right now I have one doctor I'm thinking of reporting and one I'm pissed as hell at for not knowing how to keep an honest schedule. Rant rant rant..

I think you should take your dad by a widow, shut the door and spark one up. I'm full of narcotics myself and my State is non MMJ. I'm a criminal because I need medicine. :(
