BOWLS vs. JOINTS

Suppose you have 1 gram of the finest herb you have ever smoked, you can either roll up 1 decent sized joint or smoke a couple of fat bowls.. which method do you belive gets you more high, which is the most efficient in terms of the amount of weed needed

i like smoking bowls out of my phx. i perfer smoking nugs. but when im on a budget or have only like a little bud and im trying to get as much out of it as i can i grind it up just to conserve.

otherwise i only roll up joints/king size joints/blunts if ive got more than 3 people smoking.

Bowls will always be more efficient, no contest. But I find smoking joints is more relaxing.

How many people am I with? Passing around a bowl gets old quick if its more than 3 or 4. Otherwise my pipe is my best friend.

Bowl will get you higher though, no waste like the joint.

Hmm, I think we would get just as high either way, considering it's the amount you smoke rather then the method. I'd probably smoke bowls, because that's the way i learned, i can't roll a joint, the joint could sideburn, the joint is always burning, therefore... The idea of packing bowl after bowl seems more pleasing to me. However, I would always prefer a bong or bubbler over a bowl.

Personally I'd go with rollin a blunt, sorry it's really not a trend thing or anything like that, I really just like the art of rolling a nice blunt and kicking your feet up and smoking it, tasting soo good. But if I was with some one that had a pipe I'd definitely smoke from it. I know it was bowls or joints but I still put in blunts lol.

If you like the taste of it, you'll get more of that out of a bowl too.. With a joint you are tasting all that burning paper, with a bowl its the marijuana smoke and nothing else.

Anyway I'd take a bowl.

I would have to go with glass, it's the cleanest taste I think. No metal aftertaste, no burning papers.. just pure ganja. Although I definitely enjoy rolling up a nice joint and smokin with my lady.

On an interesting side note, when my girl and I first started dating I didn't think she smoked because everytime I'd pass her the bowl (it's what i smoke alone) but she'd always pass it up. Found out 8 months into it, she only likes joints. I got mad and yelled "We could have been smoking!".. she just laughed and I rolled a joint. It's been happy toking ever since.

Joints are fun but oftentimes impractical. They also can smell up the place, not good if you live in an apartment complex with people above you, since the smoke usually goes up. Has become a problem with a few friends who used a lot of joints and didn't use scented candles or anything.

There's just less to worry about imo.

I get so much higher off of a blunt. All you need is good one rip from a blunt and you already have a head change.


I also not like having to light the weed everytime I get it. Just grab and toke!

Yeah, glass bowls are my fave. I have an old wooden bowl, but the taste is kind of funky. I'm not a big metal pipe fan- smoke gets too hot for it to be comfortable. But yeah, glass pipes are lovely :D

My mini-bong is also neat- I'd love to get a 3 foot glass bong...

I'm planning to go shopping for a new glass piece or bong this weekend, hopefully I'll have something new to show off :-D. She's complex and i'm a stoner, it just took 8 months, I thought she had sworn off drugs. (She used to be a pill sniffer but i yelled at her a bit and told her to go natural with Yes I CAN!-nibus). She never took to it cuz i only smoked alone around her, always a bowl
