grow box

alright well this year in shop our teacher really didn't have any projects for us so we could kinda pick what we wanted to do, what ever met his approval. so i asked him if i could make a "chest" but really gonna use it to grow! but once i get everything together i have some conserns, i'm just gonna put the box under a table by some amps in my basement, but i'm worried about light seeping out where the fansare, how could i prevent this light from seeping out? also i've been using a terrible fluorescent light for a while and have been disapoinnted with yeilds...but i'm going to buy new lights, would i improve my yeild if i used 3 lights during veg and then 7 or 8 during flowering? if you have any suggestions on how i could improve this that'd be awsome. open to all suggestions

Light "seeping out"... you want to light proof your cab. There's lots of stuff out there on the net about light proofing your cab. And there's lots of stuff about light proofing cannabis growing setups on... on.... On Cannabis.com! wuhu!

As to lights... well, as a general rule of thumb, more so for life than for growing MaryJane plants, it is a commonly known piece of wisdom, passed down through the ages, having had elders(!) die for its knowledge, and finally, here upon passed on to you:::::

The more, the better.

It applies to lights, girls, money, plants, knowledge, experience, and cubic inches.
