alright then....let me just say that i must suck at this cab buildin or somethin....you know how everybody says that a 150w hps isnt hot and its really easy to keep the cab cool....well not for me....

I have a cab built into my closet thats about 23" wide, 21" length, and 55" tall.....i have a 12v computer fan and i dont know how many cfms it has....and a holmes ionic purifier (also no idea on the cfms) that are both pulling air out of the cab at the top.....and theres holes on the bottom for negative pressure.....the temps are running in the 90's!! how is this possible......i mean the cab is completely air tight .....

is there any ideas out there on the cheap that could help me out to cool this little bugger......i heard about the stanley blower...is that any good?

Thanx

The stanley blower is nice, however it will take some rigging to get it to vent
properly, also its really tough to find right now unless you buy it online

I will vouch for the Stanley Blower.. it's great for the price. The intake is easy to make ( a bit of cutting of the plastic intake, a 4" section of pipe, cuts in one end to flange out, and good old duct tape to hold it in place.

For the exhaust, I used a rectangle to round 4" adapter, and cut the adapter down (rectangle part) to fit the rectangle exhaust, duct tape ehaust adapter on, and done!... drilled some holes in the plastic handle, hung upside down with bungie cords... and moves pleanty of air for forty bucks. Keeps my 6X6 with 1K HPS at 79-81
