I've read numerous threads about people getting searched and arrested for possesion when it could be avoided. I recently watched this video and it really opened my eyes:

these videos mean jack shit. laws vary from state to state. in theory they may be right but in practice cops pretty much get away with whatever they deem "necessary." trust me on this one.
