yo yo guys, its been about a year or so since i did a grow, but i am having some problems.

germed some seeds using the paper towel method. no problem. now they are between 2-3 wks old. some still have only 1 set of leaves and are about 2inch high, and some have a few more leaves and are a bit taller, but are starting to turn yellow, and both seem to have stopped growing.

they are in a cupboard in a propagator, under a 125watt envirolight. using biobizz all-mix soil and biobizz feed. they get fed every day alternativley with feed or ph'd water. also spray fed. the temp is fine, and never had problems like this so early before.

can anyone see the problem? sorry no pics yet as need a new camera.

cheers.:rasta: :stoned:

probably burning them up with too-rich soil and fertilizer ... NEVER feed plants before they are 2-3 weeks old, they have everything they need in their cotyldons (first two leaves) to get them thru the first few weeks ... also, start your seeds in a mild, plain soil, when they are ready to transplant to a bigger pot, THEN you can use the rich soil ... :smokin:

We learn from our mistakes. Hopefully you won't make the same one twice.

don't be embarrassed, I've grown successfully for 40 years, and the last couple of months, I have ruined $$$ worth of seeds ... ... I never made the connection between using the rich, high-dollar soil for the first time, and watching the seedlings burn up ... :o ... sometimes, I am SO dense ... :D
